ahhh.... are anyone's kids.... as frickin useless as mine? The dog got into and destroyed everything today...literally... it's apparently all over my house and I've gotten about 8 calls at works from the kids.... (14 & 16) how do i clean this up... how do i do this... how do i do that... but I can't get the vac to work.... I'm like what do you want me to do come home? I must be having the busiest day ever at work today too. I've never felt more frustrated then I do right now. There's tons more... but I'll spare you the details. Just needed to vent, no replies necessary. :( |

LOL That's why I have a housekeeper!!!! If my kids leave something out, it's saved for kids who don't have much. I just pick it up, pack it in a box, and once a month take it down to the shelter :) |

Yup Sounds like normal teenagers. Don't you wonder who raised them sometimes??? Like how many years have you lived with me, and why haven't you picked up on anything?? |

Yep...I really hate the calls to me at work when they are fighting! I tell them "If there isn't any blood, then don't call me!" |
oh and think of the bright side... at least they're TRYING to clean up before you get home. REAL uselessness is when you come home to the mess and all three kids, the 14 year old, the 16 year old, and the dog, are all sitting on the couch watching tv. and you ask, why didn't you guys clean up??? and they just respond... uh... didn't know how. my mother never liked that response for some reason... ;) |

I am guilty of that one! My mom used to hate summer time, she would at least recieve 10 phone calls from us during the day with us just fighting! I never understood why she was in a bad mood everday when she came home from work :rolleyes: |

Oh it was so bad... he'd gotten into a bag of shredded material. :eek: I don't think there was any surface in my house that didn't have paper all over it. My bedroom, my bed, the dinning rrom, the living room, my bathroom, and the kitchen. The kids were home for about 2 1/2 hours and I have no idea what they did pick up. One even tried to use the vac which of course was now all plugged up. :eek: Oh my goodness...it's been a day. Oh oh and then... turns our my daughter is a hoochie mama. Big ol hickey from who knows who just because.. and AT/DURING SCHOOL!!!! CALGON TAKE ME AWAY!!!!!!!!!! Anyone, I mean anyone wanna swap me? For teri88's daughter, who shall remain nameless, learn from the lessons we are teaching you of what NOT to do. :) |
I hear ya! I am a stay at home mom now but when I was working I think I wanted to kill the kids and the husband. They knew better to call me at work unless they absolutely had to. They did nothing around the house till I put my foot down. I would call them as soon as I got in the car after work to tell them I was on my way. I know once the got that phone call they all got up of their fannies to rush and do what they had to do to not make mom flip out when she got home. I know how frustrating it can be. I have a 15, 13 and 9 year old kids not including the almost 40 year old baby. But they do know by now,,, if mom isn't happy, then they aren't happy! So it's in everyones best interest not to mess around with mom! |

Remember, it can't get any worse. Hold your head up...day's almost over with and tomorrow is a fresh start. But, on a side note, I'd block your pup (like in the kitchen) from getting all over the house. |
