I dont know the girls name but she has a dog named Stewie  |
My husband was a state employee (very dangerous/stressful job) and retired early, at age 50...I retired from foster care (specialized teenage girls) at age 37. Now we just take care of the boys, goof off and...well, goof off! |
I'm a personal assistant. |
I worked as a Director of Claims for an Insurance company for 33 years and due to new bosses and down sizing I was forced to take early retirement at 53. I am loving it, money's tight but it's worth it. I help my parents who are 86 and moved them up by me in January. So I do everything for them so they can live independently. It's tiem consuming but rewarding. |
I think you guys can probably guess what I do for a living..... |
This is fun! I am enjoying reading what everyone does for a living when they're not on YT! Hehe. :p I am a wedding photographer...a very busy one at that! The studio I work for consists of another photographer, and me, and we have 14 weddings booked in June and July alone. When I'm not behind the camera, I do digital touch-ups and edits of photos like removing wrinkles, tucking tummies, brightening saggy eyes, etc. You'd think I was a plastic surgeon! LOL. In the past though I've been a news journalist, a horse-and-carriage driving tour guide and a waitress. And in the summer I give swimming lessons to children - I've taught swimming lessons for 8 years now. |
I'm still in school, but my college incorporates work terms so I have already been working at the job I will have when I graduate. I'm a Civil Engineering Technician, soon to be Technologist in December. I am trained to do materials testing for construction projects (soils, concrete, asphalt, etc.) as well as work concerning hydraulics (dams, water lines, etc.), structural design, road design, and drafting. When I'm done this course I hope to go back to university and maybe get a masters degree in civil engineering, in the area of structural design :) If I ever decide to change careers I think I would become a vet tech. I wanted to be a vet my whole life from the time i was about 5 years old, and only changing in high school when I decided I couldn't deal with having to put animals down :( |
