What is this stupid world coming to??? http://articles.news.aol.com/news/ar...00010000000001 I'm speechless, this is disgusting. It's people like this that make the REAL people who need help, look like frauds too. Shame on them. I hope they rot in jail. |
i just cant believe so people. so sad...yes they should rot in jail... |
If nothing else scammers are certainly an enterprising bunch. Never ceases to amaze me what they come up with. Course these two weren't the brightest scammers of the bunch...pretty easy to check hospitals. ;) Loved the quote by the woman...."we're not talking right now, people just don't get it"....oh, yeah, we get it alright  |

Call me naive, but I don't understand why they did it? |
That is so sad!!!!! To think you are trying to help someone in need, and it ends up you're being scamed. Shame on them! You know they won't stay in jail forever, they should, but they won't. I hope when they get out the Judge has them wash diapers by hand at a childrens shelter for a few years.   |
That is so horrible!! I don't understand where people dream up these scams..... |
I saw this too.... unbelievable I stared at the pregnant picture for a long time trying to decide if she looked pregnant or not. |
They'll get theirs; what goes around comes around. |
I read about it earlier today. Oh yeah, some people are just DESPERATE for fame and money. *sigh* It's sad. |
That is really sad. And to think what if some people stop helping the needy because of those people? Or they could have prevented someone REAL from being helped. They make me so sick. |
That is very sad! There was a lady that I worked with a couple years ago and she was doing the same thing in a way! She was putting change jars at all of the stores and saying that her daughter had some kind of disability and she didnt even have a daughter! She got caught and spent time in jail! |

One day I was having lunch at the local Applebees, and there was a guy at the busy intersection of the parking lot with a sign begging for money for food. I was going to buy him a lunch and take it out to him, and the people at the restaurant told me not to do it. Evidently he did that regularly and they 'knew' him. He would drive up in his Beamer, park it to the side and spend a couple of hours taking donations. When he was through he would come into Applebees to count his money and have a meal and drinks at the bar. They said he lived in a nice home in a nice neighborhood... I thought that really sucked!!! |
