Ok, k3teejay got everyone with her little April's Fool's Joke. Did anyone else get you? Or, did you get someone? Share your story here.
Megan got me. I was sick in bed and not thinking clearly. I got up to get a drink and she comes in to the room. First I should tell you that her best friend, Jessica had a birthday last week and we bought her a ticket to see The Phantom of the Opera on June 17th. I called her mother beforehand to see if there were any dates she couldn't go, then my sister and nephew want to go, so we had to coordinate all of this.
Anyway, Megan says "Mom, Jessica's cousin is getting married on June 17th and she can't go see Phantom. So I invited Emily to go" I was like NO! It's Jessica's present, why didn't her mother tell me about the wedding? I was freaking out. She starts to laugh and says April Fool! I was like, "Don't mess with my head today, please!" And I went back to bed.

hope you're feeling better today!!!!

Well I waited all day for our son to get me,
and at 8:00 last night he hit.
He called and said he needed me right away, he didn't
want to tell me on the phone, so Off I went, NO idea what
had happened, but when I got there he had an ice cream, and said
April Fools Mom, Nothing is wrong, I just wanted to share ice cream with you.
What a NUT!!!! Last year he told me he was Beat Up, Only it was Makeup!!!!
I'm going to get him next year, not sure how, but I think My YT family will be able to come up with a few ideas :D :D :D :D

I've been trying to convince my husband that we need a female yorkie, but he's not real crazy about the idea. Every time I go somewhere he's afraid that I'll be coming home with another dog! Well, this weekend I went and visited my aunt. On Saturday night I called my husband all excited and told him that I found a female yorkie and had bought her because she was everything that I was looking for. I just went on and on very excited about her and how perfect she was. My husband acted like he was very happy for me (he knew if I had a dog he was going to have to live with us so he might as well be happy about it!) Finally he said "Isn't today April Fool's?" I said yeah and just went on about the dog. Finally I said "Oh, yeah, I have one other thing to tell you, it is April Fool's!!" He was relieved to find out that it was only a joke. I did tell him that it was also a test for when I really do find a dog so I'll know how he'll react. He passed the test so he knows that probably in the near future I'll be bringing home another dog!!! He's really a good sport about it, don't you think??

I was lucky..none of my friends even remembered it was April Fools..I got off easy this year..which is good cause I always fall for EVERYTHING ;)

I called my mom on Saturday morning bright and early to tell her my news. My husband had accepted a job in Alabama (where he is from) and we are moving in June. My mom Freaked! I have never lived further than 10 miles from my parents and plus I have all of her grandkids -5 in total and expecting 2 more very soon. She was in tears, telling me "what am I going to do without you here". I let it go all day and let her stew on it. She called me at 6 pm and said she had been on the internet looking and she has decided she is moving with us and already started looking for a job. It was then that I broke the news to her..........APRIL FOOLS DAY MOM!!! She called me a B*T**!!!! I couldn't stop laughing. I guess now I really know how my mom feels about me :-)

Oh I love that one!! That was good. I wish my mom cared 1/2 as much as yours. She only calls me when she needs money :eek: I need to play one on her but the last time I did anything like that she went off the deep end. My brother-in-law went hunting and got a deer. After the he cleaned the skin and dried it, I sewed it up with the tail and antlers and put them in her car under a blanket that read "Don't lift this up" well of course she did and she went crazy thinking it was some kind of real animal. hee hee

oh, you guys are brutal! Especially you Bailey's Mom, you let her think all day long that you were leaving her???? And did I read your post correctly, you have 5 kids and are expecting twins???? WoW how exciting.
Megan loves April Fools day, if you need ideas for next year, check with her. When she was in kindergarten, my good friend, Joanne was her teacher. She walked in to school and said "Guess what, we are moving next week" My husband had been out of a job and Megan told her he got a job in PA and we were leaving. Joanne was devestated. And po'd at me because I hadn't said anything when I saw her the day before. Megan let her go all day thinking we were leaving. At the end of the school day she finally told her it was an April Fools joke. Joanne wanted to strangle her! She is a brat!

Yes, I have 5-kids ranging from 9 - 18 months and twins on the way. And yes, a total surprise, I wrote in a post earlier today that my husband had a vesectomy sometime ago. I will def. confer with Megan next year to get some really good ideas. My mom is still not returning any of my calls lol.

Wow! How many blessings you have in your life! No free time, but lots of blessings! My hubby had v 11 years ago, and I was a little worried 2 months ago. OMG I'm almost 47 years old. I would have jumped off of a bridge. But all is well. When are your twins due? My neice just had identical boys, they are wonderful, but they are her first, so she doesn't know any better.

They just changed my due date, I am due September 3rd but I HIGHLY doubt I will last that long. Knowing my luck they will just slip out while I'm grocery shopping. I'm lucky in the way of easy births. My last child I pushed once!!!

My neice went full term, her Dr. could not believe it. Well, with #'s 6 and 7, you'll probably just keep on shopping! good luck with them. You sure do have your hands full, how do you find time to YT? Or is this your sanity?
