Does your husband eat disgusting things?
 
My husband eats the most disgusting things. He brought home pickled pigs feed tonight and I think I am going to hurl! I had to leave the room.

LOL that's too funny. I'm the one that likes strange things. I'm very picky and have to have things a certain way. Like, no dressing on my salads, plain hamburgers. Hate catsup, mayo, mustard, wont put them on anything. Dont like dips. (Only salsa) But when it comes to pig feet, sushi, and other foods some might think is gross, I really like.

haha. I would throw up if anyone brought pickled pigs feet near me!!

I don't have a husband, but here's a story about my dad...

My mom would slave over a hot stove/grill and make steamed asparagus, mashed potatoes, filet mignon and then an awesome dessert (she is an awesome cook)... My dad would pick at his food and then when we were all done eating, he would bust out a jar of peanut butter and spoon it into his mouth until it was all gone. My mom would get SO pissed off at him. They're divorced for 10 years now :rolleyes:

Kristy, that sounds exactly like something my husband would do, although it wouldn't be peanut butter, it would be something else gross.

Latuya, that is funny that you eat so much of your food plain but you will eat pig's feet. LOL! YUCKY!!!!

Oh another thing my husband absolutely LOVES is menudo, which he insists on slurping and showing me each nasty piece of that cow's stomache that he puts in his mouth. He knows how much I hate just the smell of that stuff!!!!

Oh man, working with all guys I think I have seen it all.. Here is a list of some of the GROSS things I've seen them eat.. sardines, pigs feet, pickled TONGUE, limburger cheese,blind robins (some other fish) talk abt stink!
This one guy goes over to the dollar store and comes back with cans of sardines and other hairy little fish, for a DOLLAR and will sit and eat them, how good can that stuff be for a dollar?? :eek:
ANYTHING made out of deer meat!
THEY are so gross.
But yet sometimes I'll make or bake something and I'll bring it in,and they all say " What is it?" I scream,.. " LIKE IT MATTERS, you'll fricking eat anything." :rolleyes:

Well, I wouldn't call them disgusting, but he eats stuff that I think is gross...like pickles and spinach. :( :thumbdown The worst part is, I can't stand the smell of pickles and he knows it. He'll eat them and then sneak up on me and sit on me and blow pickle smell in my face! :eek: Yuck!

Hubby likes head cheese. Don't know what it is but it smells awful.
My father's favorite sandwich was sardines on raisin bread with mayonaise! He has been gone for 20 years, and I can still see that disgusting sandwich! He also used to break up white bread in a bowl and put sugar and milk on it. I can not stand soggy food, at all!

Yucky Pig's feet!!! I'd be so grossed out. I can't even bring myself to buy Pig Ears, Snouts, and hooves for Sango to chew on!

PIg's feet make me cringe! Do you eat their toe nails too! EWW! And are they the ones that are pink?
My dad eats some pretty nasty stuff. It's that Brit coming about him. My grandpa was a butcher so my family is pretty into the nasty animal parts. How about a cow tounge sandwich? EWWW!!

We both eat sardines oysters ect. but there is one thing he eats that totally grosses me out and that is deer meat. I grew up eating deer meat because my dad was a big hunter but one time I ate a bad piece and it made me sick..now i can't stand the smell of it..BUT my husband loves hunting so he eats it but i don't .

Now, hubby eats calf fries....EEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!

Deer meat, I can handle if cooked the right way but keep the mountain oysters...don't like those!

No you don't eat toe nails. LOL

And I love tounge sadwishes. One day we went to my moms and she made deep fried toiunge and my daughter was in heaven. She was on her second helping and loving it TILL she found out what it was. We should have never told her and she would have never known.

Must be a CA thing!! I HATE "stuff" on my hamburgers too!! When I was a kid, we used to go to this restaurant and I'd order "a plain hamburger, tater tots and a large Coke"!! Still do (can't get the tater tots tho!). People think I'm nuts.
But, I don't do pigs feet, sushi, anchovies etc. :thumbdown :thumbdown

So you know how it is to have your mom get upset because they had to make you pull over to the side so that they can make your plain Burger. It's not so bad now because most places make them fresh. And It's not so bad if I just scrape all that gross stuff off. But if I taste even just a hint of mustard,,, I will not eat it. But when I was a kid, if I even seen a spot of catsup, I would not eat it!

Oh and pickles. I hate them so much my kids are not to those in this house or anywhere near me. I smell it and gag. My mother in law buys them pickles and I will make them eat them outside and after they are done they have to wash their hands and rinse their mouths.

My husband won't eat stuff like that, but here's one for you.

My Brother came home from a party one night. Good thing everyone was sleeping, he would be in so much trouble if Mom & Dad were awake. :D
Anyway, I got up because I heard him come in. He went in to the kitchen, took out a can of tuna, and made a sandwich. I looked at him really funny and asked what he was doing. He yelled at me, "What does it look like I'm doing" I just laughed and went to bed. The next morning, we were all in the kitchen, and my mom asked why I didn't put the can in the trash, I told her,
Oh I did, David was hungry last night, so he made a cat tuna fish sandwich.
Something we will never let him forget! :p :p :p
LOL, to this day I can't make tuna sandwiches with out cracking up.

I guess the grossest things my husband eats is spinach, onions and a bloody steak. To see the blood makes me want to vomit I dont touch meet let alone eat the bloody stuff all my meat has to be cooked WELL done. Oh and he likes shinkenoodle its eggs macaroni noodles and ham I love them all seperat but him and the girls like it all mixed together heck his whole side of the family loves it is has to be a German thing

hahaha, i just saw this thread and had to chime in. my husband is rather disgusted by some of the things I eat. I love roasted pig ears (crunchy!), beef tripe stew, sashmi, chicken feet, and love my steak medium rare. he's the one that's always trying to get me to "identify the food" before he eats it. haha.
