Does anyone have a stay at home job?
 
Just wondering if anyone has a stay at home job stuffing envoples, or sewing for company's, assembling products?

Is there any real jobs out there like this that is not a rip off? And do you make any money doing it.

Every stay at home job like what you have listed I have always heard is a big rip off. Good luck in your search.

That is why i'm asking. I am thinking the same thing, but i'd really like to find my husband a job LOL.

He needs somthing else to do instead of watching tv all day.
He's retired but im sure there are somethngs he could do.

I was wondering the same thing!

I want to work so bad, but me being pregnant i can't really work, i want to work at home because it's killing me not doing anything but cleaning! (i never used to clean! ahh!)

i think i might take up knitting, but i want a job! LOL

Hi all,

This is my first post to this forum :)

I am in the process of setting up my own little business in order to be able to work at home. I have become a webmaster :)

This came about because I could not find the information I needed for training our yorkie and I decided to create my own website!! Now this was a bit of a challenge because I had no knowledge on how to do this. But anyway, in 4 months I have managed to come up with the site that is in my signature.

How cool is that!! My aim in time is to work at home creating websites.

Wish me luck...

How about a little dog walking there are always local people around wanting a dog walked, fresh air and pocket money.

I'm really lucky - I work for a local non profit organization and they do not
have an office. I get to work from home everyday, although I do leave for meetings etc. We support local organisations that provide computer/internet
access in the community.

I've being with the same organisation for just over 5 years. The benefits are not great but the money/travel time I save being at home is great. And of course now that we have Punkin I get to be home with her 95% of the time.

I'm very disciplined with my time. I ensure my job is only 9 - 4:30 and I'm careful to keep to that. I also take lunch at noon and two breaks during the day. It really helps to keep my life sane.

One of the best things about working from home is no office gossip!!!

I've heard of many work at home job advertised but I'm typically of the mindset that if it sounds to good to be true it usually is. You should also never have to pay to start a job and many of these work at home things require you too.

I was trying to find something for the husband, but he knows nothing about computers LOL.

I really didnt want to set up shop at my home.

Some times i think it would be a good thing but then not.. :) :) :)

I have heard that also. I feel you should'nt have to pay either. I guess i was just grabbing at straws.. Wishfull thinking LOL... :) :) :)

I wish, I'd love to find something to supplement my income. I run across the same things you do. I once called on an ad for doing billing/transcription at home. They wanted me to pay $300 for the privledge of their list of providers that used the service, however, they couldn't guarantee that any of them needed my services. Basically they will sell me a list of names for docs that aren't hiring.

I am a transcriptionist that works at home. I work for three transcription companies and I love it! The pay is good and no commute. I work in my PJs or sweats. I would never work outside the home again. I also have two home businesses; Arbonne which is skincare, nutrition, aromatherapy, and makeup; and Ameriplan which is discounted health benefits that helps a lot of people who can't afford health insurance and for those that have insurance, but have things that aren't covered such as vision, dental, etc. It makes me feel really good that I am helping people with things they really need and not just junky "stuff" that they don't need. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE what I do and wouldn't change it for the world!

A family member of mine used to work for an insurance company doing claims. He worked out of the house and they gave him the whole office setup- desk, computer, fax machine, phone, etc.

I got a little bit of advice from a self make millionaire gentleman 3years ago in how to buy homes and make money from home.
I followed his 30 minute advice and in 2days got approved for another home without having to sell our primary.
I couldn't believe it! I see now how the rich can become richer and get the writeoffs we all need.
Now when i get in the mode i shopping for houses online and set up deals to purchase what looks like a money maker.
I could have never made the same money working a 12hour job in 10 years.
His direction helped me make 400,000 in the first 2 years.
Sometimes the too-go-too be true stuff is really a blessing to open minds who are willing to take a chance.
If i could do it anyone could.

Yeah my little one is 23 now and still comes over for money when he gets low. LOL They always think the money mom and dad have is grown on the money tree and it just keeps on blooming every month.
I'm lucky its all tied up in the houses.LOL
