Miracles Happen Every Day!
 
In light of what recently happened to Rachel, I have been depressed and somewhat frighten.
Thursday afternoon my mother, who is 72, was in a bad car accident.
A passer-byer aided my mother by holding her hand and calling my sister and myself. A car ran a stop sign and in an instant my mother collided with it going approximately 40 mph. She did'nt even have time to break. Of course seeing the car made her brace her whole body.
When I got the call from this good samaritan, I was devastated. I rush to the ER, And was there when the ambulance arrived at the ER. The driver of the other car was in the same ambulance and he look pretty banged up. My mother looked okay even though she was strapped to the board and was hooked up to IV's and oxygen.
X-rays and CT scan showed no major injuries! My mother's back is sprained and she is a little bruised up. WOW! THANK GOD!
After seeing my mother's car the next day I still believe it was a MIRACLE she walked away (as they say) with minor injuries.

Bless your heart! Thank heavens your Mom is Ok. Sounds like it could have been much worse. I'm sending prayers to you and your Mom. I hope she feels better soon. Hang in there........we are here for you.

That's SOO GOOD to hear!! My boyfriend always seems to bee in the right place at the right time and ALWAYS stops to check on people no matter what.. it's one of the things I love most about him.. I never see anything, though :rolleyes: I'm so glad to hear your Mama is ok!! Someone had an angel watchin over her!! :)

I'm so happy to read that everything turned out ok. Bless her heart. She hand an angel watching over her. My husband got into a very bad accident a few months ago and came out of it without a scratch. The brand new car didn't make it but he did and that's all that matters. To see the car, its a wonder how he walked away unhurt. He too had an angel watching over him. Gus and I both send our get well wishes. Hope she feels better soon!

I am so sorry your mom was in an accident. But glad that she was not hurt badly. As someone said, she had an angel watching out for her. And an angel in the one who called you to let you know.

:( Wow I am sorry to hear the news but very glad that everything turned out good :D She will make a full recovery and yes God is a wonderful person. Thanks for the news and keep us posted on her. Take care..

She had an Angel watching over her. We will keep her in our Thoughts & Prayers.

We have all been very upset this week over the loss of Rachel. They said a special prayer for her and her family at our Church this morning. I was in tears, we might be an on-line Family, but we are a strong Family.

I am glad you Mom is ok. Thank Goodness you could get to the hospital so quickly and be with her. I am glad she is feeling good now. We never know what the day will bring and I know you are thanking God for all your blessings.

Thank God she wasn't badly hurt! Isn't it amazing sometimes ... just a tiny pause can make such a difference ... that's why I don't get impatient at red lights or if cars speed around me! I tell myself that moment was for my Angel to jump in my car! Please keep us updated on your Mom and give her hugs & puppy kisses from Toto & me!

What a close call and I'm so glad your mom is ok.....both my parents at 78 were in a car accident last year and the car was totaled....it's a huge huge scare.... and at that age really is hard for them to bounce back...I hope she continues to feel better....

Hows your Mom feeling today?
She really is super lucky, an Angel was there for her.
My Mom had an Angel with her when her car was hit.
She broke her back & neck, but thank God she was still with us.

I'm so glad your mom is ok. How scary for you! A girl I work with got a call on Friday night that her parents were in a horrible accident. Her father died and her mom is in intensive care with skull fractures. Her mom was driving and accidently ran a red light. It always scares me how your whole life can change, or end in an instant. Glad your mom's outcome was so wonderful.
