**Anyone decorate their home with....
 
crafts~ primitives?? I love making crafts and such for my home, i make lots of dolls(raggedy ann and andy) and others too hehehe and some wood things when i can get hubbys help lol...i make candles....hummmm lets see :D so what all kind of decorations do u all decorate with?? or what do u collect for your home??
I love anything prim...and i love to collect anything with sheep in or on it ;) love to hear what all u all collect? decorate with? Primitives(my primitives are things made to look old but are not always old just grubbed up to look so:0) primitives are big here in Indiana!

I am a pretty mod gal and I don't know how to make anything ;) but I really admire people who do. Maybe one day.

I am going to PM you about your Ann/Andy dolls.

my mom used to do alot of crafts...she would make all sorts of neat stuff...especially around christmas time...i would sometimes help her out and i really enjoyed the relaxing aspect of it....I think its really neat when people decorate their homes with homemade crafts...

I have a collection of pottery , I didnt make it all but a few things i did make while i worked at a art school .I also have paintings ..and some photos ,all things I've collected over time .I love Art ..and Artist are some of my favorite people .

I decorate with alot of copper pans and candlesticks. Anything copper. I also have alot of Rowe Pottery.

I love crafts. I have alot of them myself but I mostly have baskets. Lots and lots of baskets. HEE HEE. I would love to see some of the stuff you have made.

I have a sister inlaw who lives in Muncie Indiana. What part of Indiana are you from?

:D Hmmmm... that is a very neat habit to have... I don't really make anything well I haven't in awhile but I like to decorate my apartment with alot of artwork and little trinkets here and their, fancy curtains, stuff in that nature... Keep up the habit maybe you should think about selling some of your work.. take care..

I decorate my house in Primitive things! In fact that is where I just spent my day is shopping in stores like that! I love them and cant get enough of all of the cute things! My hubby says its all junk but I think its so adorable and get so many compliments on it!

Well I dont know if there is a favorite thing that I like but I really like the look of anything that has the crackle paint on it or anything like that! I bought a really cute little shelf today, on the door of it is chicken wire and the wood looks burnt! And a bought a little candlestick holder that has the little handle on it, like they used to use in the old days for if they got up in the middle of the night! I also collect old tins from antique stores like the coffee cans and things like that!

Yes there is one that me and my mother in law just found last weekend and I love it! there is also another one in another town near us! We have lots of antiques shops and things around too! I love to shop for decore!

yep i so much love making crafts and do sometimes sale on ebay..use to have a website but do to health prob i no longer have it:( but do still have ones that when they need something they give me a yell:0)

too cool! i have my dd hooked on prims its funny when she lived at home she hated it....lol now she is married and guess what.......she has her walls filled too and with prims hehehhe

I love primitives too! My house is mostly antiques and western items. I collect New Mexico Native American stone polished pottery and my husband collects Hopi Kachinas. In our den we have my grandpa's saddle, rope, spurs, and stetson hat. I also have my mom's set of antique Fiesta dishes displayed in a corner hutch in my kitchen.

I say that looking at/for antiques helps me to keep my sanity - I can go into an antique shop and just walk around, look at things, and feel a whole lot better when I leave, no matter whether I buy anything or not.

I used to collect primitives then moved on to other things I still have quite a few in the basement. Have a hoosier cabinet and an old double door cabinet that i store my old quilts in. I have alot of old tins and washboards, antique side saddle, coffee pots,brass horse hanes, a couple of vintage 2 man cross-cut saws and a bunch of odds and ends.I have thought about selling the whole lot because its a pain to keep the dust off of.
I now like to make Large Carousel horses. My two loves are my yorkies and horses. But crafts in general I really love to do.

I love the country look it's so comfortable. My kitchen is in apples but i'm thinking of switching to vineyard. My living room I have alot of boyd's bears and some birdhouses (the floor kind) I have alot of wood..shelves, benches, hutch cabinet, quilt racks ect. Alot of stuff I still have in storage though. We moved here and was going to build but decided to do that in missouri..so i don't have as much here. I am crazy about candles..I LOVE LOTS AND LOTS OF CANDLES..and potpourri..
But if I had my dream look it would be totally scotland..a big ol castle with all the furnishings to go with it.
Have you ever seen the magazine . A Touch of Class. It has some beautiful things in there. It's all dif tastes but has alot of old world in it..which if i changed i would decorate in that..
I do like alot of primative but i'm just recently liking some of the white washed things. I love to decorate though..anyway i've rambled enough..can you tell i like this topic lol
