Help me name my baby (human)!
 
I just found out I'm having a litte beautiful baby girl and we are planning to name her:

Aubrey... but the midde name we like...

Jade or Nicole.

My only problem is if we decide to name her Aubrey Nicole, her initials will be ANT and i don't want kids to make fun of her.. because growing up my best friend's initials are MAD and they would always make fun of her.. and me too! cause my initials are KB , they'd always call me KB toy store LOL.. and I know how cruel some kids can be.

so i don't want her to go through all of that! soooo.. here are some options i thought i'd share with yall..

Since we can't do Polls here, and the polls we can do are only yorkie-related, here are some that i chose and maybe yall could help me out!

Congratulations! Both names have a real pleasing ring to them. I don't think you can go wrong with either one. I'm old-fashioned when it comes to spelling. I prefer Aubrey Jade or Aubrey Nicole. Otherwise, the poor girl is gonna have to spell her name to everyone she ever gives it to.

A.J. is a cool nickname, too.

Yea that is true about the spelling, because I hate having to explain to people that my name is KHristine, and not KRistine lol..

I really like A.J as a nickname for a girl, it's really cute!

Congratulations on your baby girl!!!!! Here are some other names with the same "AJ".Aubrey Jade.....Aubrey Jane......Aubrey Joan....Aubrey Joy......and Aubrey Judith. I like Aubrey Joy the best. :congrats:

"Jade" has always been one of my favorite names for a girl! It's on my list (for the future, lol.) So my vote is Aubrey Jade! I like "AJ" too so that's perfect.

I'm with Mike on this one. Keep the spelling traditional or the poor dear will always have people pronounce and spell it wrong!

Aubrey Joy is nice, too!

Thanks everyone for all the replies!

My boyfriend and I are still stuck on a middle name,

while we were trying to sleep after watching the DVD of my ultrasound, we were thinking of tons of names,

Aubrey Marie but Marie over here is So common.

but we are for sure stuck on Aubrey :) I LOVE that name!

Growing up I've always liked the names: Aubrey, Penelopie, Chloe, Laney and Taylor

Congrats on the baby girl! When are you due? My daughters initials are AJ! Her name is Allison Jane. I like Aubrey Jane! Or Aubrey Jade. We thought we had decided on our daughter's name but ended up changing 3 days before she was born! I searched all over the internet & books looking for the perfect name! Finally that one just hit me! Good luck!! Let us know what you decide! :)

I agree, I named my Val Valiree,,,, to be different,,, and go with her sisters name (Desiree) And she or I have to always correct people when spelling it.

that's not bad! My husband was 3 days old when his parents finally choose a name! You'd think 9 months would have been long enough for them to decide right? They told me when he was born his parents looked at him and decided he wasn't worthy of the name Patrick (2 years later they named their next son Patrick). So they finally decided 3 days later to name him after his grandfather. So they had to deal with telling people he didn't have a name yet for 3 days! lol.

I have an Ashley Nichole - not that that matters, just a different way to spell Nicole as an option.

Don't worry about what names are popular, I picked out my daughter's name in 1999, when we first started trying, Mia Isabella was not popular then but when I finally had her in 2005 they were the two most popular names. I did not care, I loved the name and that's what counts! Of course one month before she was born we added a second middle name, Felicita (fe-lee-see-ta), after her greatgrandmother who passed away right before she was born...
My daughter's initals (first and last name) spell M.E. and of course she has one of everything with the saying "It's all about Me"...

One of my good friends' her name is Christina Rose Amodeo (CRA)
Her now husband's last name is Pisano.
She is now Christina Rose Amodeo-Pisano

I love the name Aubree Jayde. I am a fan of unsual spellings. Although I'm not a big fan of nicknames. I have a first cousin her name is Adria Jewell or AJ. I've never called her AJ. When I named my son his name is Ethan Pierce and I had to get onto my dad (Pierce) he wanted to call him EP. Now if anyone tries to call him by anything other than his name. He tells them that his name is Ethan Pierce Cassity. So his name is Ethan. Just my opinion. But, if you find a name that you love why shorten it with a nickname?

I like Aubrey Jayde, I love to spell things differently to be unique. My kids might hate me when they grow up though.. LOL My youngest is Jillian Mackynsie..
