My MIL does that. Years ago I would think it was something urgent, but when she finally gives up and leaves a message, its always the same "Hi, its mom. Give me a call when you get a chance"... We've gone all cellular and did away with our land lines. Thankfully she doesn't have my cell number! I don't even deal with the home line anymore. Just as well, since hubby is always misplacing it... |
I know how you feel. People used to do the same thing to me. You can either put your cell on silent and turn the ringer off on your house phone. Or just explain to your friends that you have a baby that naps, and that you would appreciate it if they would only call one time. |

To get off the subject a little, what makes me really MAD is when people use them in there cars and don't pay attention to where they are going, me and Mike both love motorcycles and love to ride, and last year when a lady blew thru a stop sign and all most killed us because she was talking on her cell phone really upset me she turned the same time as we did and didn't even see us, it was hard trying to stay on the road, Mike finally caught up to her and she got a ear full from him. Cell phones should be outlawed in cars..... Sorry guys just had to get that off my chest... I feel better now.... |
