Hey everyone, Megan and I got back from Las Vegas last night. We soooo did not want to come home. It was warm, sunny and so much fun. Megan wants to move there. Believe me, if hubby could get a job there I'd go! We saw Donny two nights, met up with friends who moved there two years ago and saw our neighbors who retired out there. We had a blast. Here are a few pictures. Hopefully in the right order: the street my friends live on, Megan in the hotel, my sister met Pete Rose, and the view from our window.

I like Vegas, but it's really hot there in the summer.

Why am I not surprised that Pete Rose is in Vegas...though I'd imagine there'd be some advantage to hanging out with him.

Sounds like a great time......so you gonna tell us what happened in Vegas or is it staying there? Oh, silly me, I forgot you were hanging out with Pete Rose :rolleyes:

I was hanging out with Pete Rose and Megan, NOTHING happened in Vegas that I can't tell you! Actually Pete Rose was at Cesars Palace. They said he was signing autographs. so, we go over there and they said go in to the store and buy anything off of the red table and he would autograph it. Well, a baseball was $100, bat was $200, sweat shirt $250.....only my sister was crazy enough to buy a ball for her husband. (He's a collector).
I did not gamble because the one time I put a bill into a slot machine the family conscience started "you can't gamble, why are you gambling?" We did see Donny Osmond twice, his show was awesome. I do have more pics, I'll have to resize them.

Wow! And you beat Megan to the post about the trip. Good work and great pics!

You better not move there. Judging from the designer sunglasses Megan's wearing, she'd be falling in with the wrong crowd in no time.

Falling into the wrong crowd??? They're already hanging out with Pete Rose. Pete Rose whose now restorting to selling overpriced sports equipment he picked up from Walmart ;)

Megan won't be posting any time soon. I had to take her out of school for our trip so she has tons of work to make up. And, every time she comes on someone tells her to go do her homework, so she is in to avoiding nagging!
Oh, and the sunglasses? $14 at the Rio. It's just because she is wearing them that they look so smart!

more..... :D these are from the Nevada temple (don't worry, I'm not posting all of them)

Of course they let us take pictures of Donny! It was actually pretty funny. People kept going down to the stage and he'd take a picture with him and then the security guards would come over and chase them back to their seats. Donny was like, "Guys, its OK. Come on down everybody!" :cool:

Great pictures, Megan! You better not move, though. I don't think Wicked is playing in Vegas. At least not with the Broadway cast

Man!! You guys didn't have time to call me, eh!? I got Megan's email from you know who! I wish I could have met you guys! I actually decided to stay there for one more day so I came back yesterday too. It seems like you had fun time.. I hope you checked Bellagio's flower thing.. I stayed there.. and it looked really beautifuL!

Those flowers were awesome! We ate lunch there on Saturday. Megan took a bunch of pictures of the flowers. We also saw the water show. What a hotel! Sorry we didn't get to meet you, that would have been fun.

He seemed very nice. Of course he was making a ton of money! But he was very talkative and posed for as many pictures as we wanted to take. I've always felt he got a raw deal and I hope he'll get in to the hall of fame one day. (especially now, my sister has his autographed ball!)
