Ex- Boyfriend Murdered, having a hard time dealing...
 

I know that I haven't been on here lately, I just wanted to let you all know why....
My ex-boyfriend was murdered on 2/11/2006 and I am having a hard time dealing. I really loved this person with all my heart and I would have exchanged places. The pollice are investigating this situation. Please all that pray, pray for me that I will be able to grieve and let him go, and that the person that did this will be caught...

Here is the story:-The latest murder in Pike County was not a random shooting.

Although authorities will not comment on a motive, Sheriff Larry D. Travis said it appears P. Shope was standing outside his parked car just before the shooting.

Shope, 20, of 4308 Ohio 220, Apt. 10, was pronounced dead at the scene when officers arrived at 1:57 a.m. Saturday at Sheridan Lane near Lake White. His vehicle was parked by the side of the road, and Shope was lying next to his car.

Travis said Shope was shot with a high caliber weapon shortly before officers arrived. As such Travis is calling on anyone who might have been in the area around the time of the murder to contact authorities.

"We are working on a theory and I don't want to say to much, but if anyone saw anything it could really help to clear this thing up," Travis said. "Any information would be greatly appreciated."

A suspect has yet to be arrested for Shope's murder.

Shope's body was taken to the Hamilton County coroner's office for an autopsy.

My x boyfriend was killed 1 year after we broke up. It has been over 10 years and I still think of him often. I had not talked to him since the night that we had broken up and we ran into each other at a party, we had both moved on and were happy in our new relationships. We talked for the longest time, he apologized for being such a jurk and told me that he will always hold a place for me in his heart... he died exactly one week later.

You are not alone.

The heart takes so long to heal after a loss... but it will heal. It takes time... You can get through this, you are strong!

I am so sorry for your loss, that is such a tragic thing to happen. I feel your pain as my ex-boyfriend turned best friend was recently killed in a car accident by a drunk driver (and the driver walked away). I was devastated as he was my first love/high school sweet heart who I was with for much of highschool. He was the guy friend who would stand beside me through all my boyfriend fights & break ups too - what ex would do that.

I wish I could tell you that things will get back to normal, but it was been 5 months and I still cry. It will get better though - keep your chin up. Twinkie & I send a big hug.

I would just like to say thank you all for your kind words. I guess we don't realize the impact someone that we rarely even talk to has on us, do we? The last time we talked was about 10 months ago, and the last time I seen him was about 2 months ago. Even though we were broken up, he was always in my heart, I thought of him often. I wondered what he was doing, or how he was doing. He had gotten mixed up in some bad things after we broke up.

Thing is he kept leaving me for this girl and that girl. I would always take him back until I got with who I am with now. I feel so guilty now, like if I would have waited around a little longer he would be with me, and he would still be alive.

After I got with my now husband, he would always call.

I will forever miss him.

I guess it is the fact he was murdered too....
