Stupid Soap Opera Im watching General Hospital right now as I work, and I normally think these shows are so cheezy but I find myself occasional watching. Anyone else fall victim to this? Well anyways, General Hospital is making me almost cry right now. I cant believe I am getting caught up in this show. They killed off one of the nice characters and right now they are having a memorial for her on the show and everyone is all sad and they are making me all sad. I feel like such a goober. :rolleyes: So who else watches these goofy shows? |
Whose?? Courtney?? I don't have it on right now, but I hate that they killed her.. I think she is the one that wanted out though.. |

I work during the day so I dont get to watch them anymore but I used to watch them all of the time. My favorite one used to be Sunset Beach do you guys remember that one? |

Yes I watch them all. I havent watched as much of All my children. I just started that one about a year ago and I havent caught an episode in months. One life to Live is driving me nuts. The whole split personality thing is just stupid. By the way Sky just found out she was pregnant :D :D :D |

I've watched GH since the day I was born (seriously, my mom had me in the hospital watching with her). I wasn't as bad with Courtney as I was when Tony just died. And, yes, the baby is Nikolas'. I watch GH occasionally. I have been watching All My Children since the beginning. Talk about stupid. Erica just found out that her aborted fetus. (she had an abortion very controversial made TV history back in the early 70's) turns out the Dr. who preformed it transplanted the aborted fetus into his wife who was unable to have children. :eek: :eek: Erica just found out his son is really hers. Now I've seen everything! But guess who's still watching. |

As of now it looks like only alcazar could be the father, but you know how that is :rolleyes: I really liked All My Children, I just am usually busy in the morning and forget to turn the TV on. I really dont watch soaps that much. I used to watch One Life to Live and General Hospital religiously so I can watch it once every few months and keep up pretty well. |

I have watched All My Children for years and years. I also started watching GH, and really liked Courtney. I found out that I have been working with Alecia's dad for a few years now. In fact, I just worked with him yesterday. I asked him why she was leaving the show and not renewing her contract. He said she decided that if she signed up for another 4 year contract, she felt like she'd be to old to pursue some of the roles she wanted to try out for. I think she wants to see if she can get any big-screen roles, as well as other TV roles. He said, if that didn't work out -- she would consider going back! When I questioned how she would come back as Courtney -- he merely answered "It's a Soap Opera -- anything can happen!" So, although I wish the best for her -- I really hope she comes back! :D |
OMG Shana what a good thread I love GH Im so upset that Courtney died and I REALLY hope Jax tells Nicholas I think thats the only thing that will save him. And oh man Sam and Alexis thats gonna be good. I also watch Young and the Restless as well been a while but the last thing I saw was Max was pregnant... |
We watch Days and Passions - we love those too because they are crazy! My mom has watched Y&R for years....she records it every day still! Soaps are very addicting! Although, we don't watch ours everyday. |

I am the worst when it comes to the soaps!!! I record them, and zip to the parts I like :D :D :D It's much faster, and with all my kids, time is something I never have. I can watch the weeks shows over the weekend without having to stop to go pick them up. ;) Been hooked for years. If I miss something, I just go to soapnet.com :) :) :) |
