I got a Kodak 4 or 5 years ago - and it still works just great. Megapixils - 3 or 4 is all that most of us will ever need - unless we want to develop 14 x 20 size pictures. One of the worst mistakes a person can make is buying a "fancy camera." One that is not easy to use. I think most of us amateurs need a "stand and shoot" type camera. I can make a lot of adjustments with mine - but it is an automatic and I rarely ever do anything other that just aim and take a picture. And my pictures turn out wonderful. I do most of my fancy adjustments on the computer. I rarely use the zoom feature on my camera (I have learned to stand closer to my subject). But, I will zoom it up on my computer screen and then trim it. This has worked wonderfully for me. Good luck - get the best camera you can afford - and get an easy camera to use. I use a Canon Power Shot Pro 1 and it's a bit more camera than I would have choosen for myself....leave it to the MAN to get the most expensive :D ....I don't use 1/4 of the features it has but it takes BEAUTIFUL pictures |
