Just got the cutest wallet... 1 Attachment(s) won this on ebay last week. Funny...the auction ended at $.99! but with shipping and insurance, i paid almost $10! Nuts! anyway, its worth it...so pretty :) |
It's cute, but I refuse to pay overinflated shipping charges to any seller. Is it worth 10 bucks, yes probably, but that's not the point. It's a pet peeve of mine, not to mention, it's fee avoidance from eBay.... |
2 Attachment(s) That is gorgeous :D I also have 2 yorkie purses which i too bought on ebay !st ones a bit dirty as it my everyday one :D |

That is cute! I have looked at these online too! Is this one handpainted? We have a handbag/jewelry warehouse here that sells a lot of dog breed wallets, purses, bags, etc - they aren't painted, just cloth. Some sellers do charge an outragious amount for shipping. That is one of the first things I look at now when I am looking at something. I even search the help topics on eBay and asked some about it. eBay does say that you should always just go ahead and add atleast $1.50-$2.00 for insurance in your shipping price (not making it optional, because they say it should be there no matter what) - saves you the headache if you are the seller & something happens to the package during shipping - Then, most sellers charge a fee (eBay said that this is mainly for the packaging materials and for some the drive to the post office, to help with toner costs, etc). So, in some cases, I can see how that adds up. I have never over charged on shipping though. Sometimes, it is a little more or less, but nothing too extreme. |
