I'm back and need some help,,,,,,, (please)
 

Hi all,,, well I'm back,,,, don't know if anybody realized I was gone but it's good to be back up and running anyhow. My husband decided to upgrade and well I will just say we were down for a while.

I got a very nice video/digital cam for Valentines day and if it wasn't for my new toy I would have gone crazy without a computer. LOL Anyway It's a Samsung SC-D353. Very easy to use and I wanted to share some videos with you all but I am having problems. Just before Tim (my husband) decided to do his upgrade I had just learned how to share videos with my dig cam. It loaded up onto Dropshots with no problem (pictures and video wtih no sound) Because of it not having no sound so that's why I never did share with you in the past. But now that I have the new one I am able to load them onto the computer and watch them, but when it comes to uploading them to Dropshots, it says that it was successfully loaded but when I go to view it there is nothing there. (A box with an red X) Do I have to compress the video in any way? Or is there a program that I have to put it in before trying to load them? What am I doing worng? I am able to load pictures but not videos. I don't understand why the my old dig. cam work just fine and now with the new one it wont work. I've read the Owner's instruction book like 20 times and and I'm doing everthing it says, and I figuared if I can view both pictures and videos from my PC I shouldn't have any problems uploading them elswhere, but the videos are just not showing. Does anyone have any helpful input on this matter and if I can't get this to work with Dropshots, is there any other FREE site out there I can I can use other then Dropshots to share my videos? Thanks so much for any help in this matter!!!!

Awe thanks Erin, your so sweet! I miss all of you. It was hard on all of us without a computer. I don't how we lived before. Because we were lost without it. You should have seen all of us fighting to use it went it was up and running. We are so bad! LOL

I know! Our system crashed once, it took a few days to figure out what to do with the extra time. What was the world like before the internet? I don't remember. lol

Ok I've been working at this for 2 days now and I just can't figure it out. I can share a video off of my dig cam with no sound, and the ones recorded off of my new cam are loading but can not be seen once loaded,,, maybe it's just my pc? Can anyone please check to see if they are able to view all three videos that are loaded and let me know. I was thinking that it could be because of the firewall that I am not able to view the 2 recorded off the new cam. I'm just guessing here. I just woke up. I can't believe all those MEANIES didn't reply. Welcome back; of course you were missed!

Well, I checked it out and you have two vids posted. They both say they were uploaded today. Neither has sound. The first is a closeup of your pooch going crazy, and the second is a clip of two people going crazy (lol, you?).

A couple questions:
* So those were from your old camera, not your new one?
* When you have the vids on your computer, can you play them and hear sound?
* How do you upload to dropshots? Do you use the jussdrop software that you have to download from the site?
* I'm gonna look at the FAQ on dropshots and will get back to you if I discover anything. For now, I'm clueless.

I SAW THEM ! and I was reading on Jusspress for you yesterday and still can't help any more than what we talked about - maybe alaskayorkie can figure this out because girl...you sound just like me...keep on trying till you just HAVE to ask for help....the videos were cute though - are these the ones you were trying to upload ? Does your camera have sound ?

I only see one picture and one video of Gus. It had me laughing - since I can't hear anything it looks like he is talking. He looks even cuter on video. :)

ok the old cam's video's load just fine, they don't have sound. Now the new cam loads onto the computer just fine. Sound and all, but when I go to upload them on Dropshots, it says it doesn load, but when you go to watch them there is nothing there but one of those boxes with the red X in the middle. I was messing with it all day and deleted the boxes but I will try it again and leave it there to see if you all can view it. As for the videos with no sound, they load up just fine.

ok I just noticed that the videos taken by the new cam take longer to load and the files are larger. Dost the size of the video matter? I thought as long as they were under 2 minutes, it was ok?

The way I load them is I bring up Dropshots, click on upload, browse, then I enter my username then passward and it loads from there.

One more question,,, is there another FREE site that I can use other than Dropshots to upload and share my video's?

ok well thats it,,,, I give up. Nothing I'm doing is working. I wont stress on it (or at least I will try not to) But for those of you who come across this thread and own a Samsung SC-D353, I can sure use your help. Thanks to those who have tried to help thus far!
