If I hear one more person.... SUCK UP SNOT im going to LOSE MY MIND!! Ok sorry to be gross, but I can't take it anymore! How come you can't teach a child to blow there nose! NO they just keep sucking it back up. Ive been listening to my 4 year old do this for about 5 hours NON STOP and Im losing my mind. Its like nails on a chalk board. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Ok...im done now. |
OH yes i agree.. i hate it too. My brother has always done it and still does and hes 37 :eek: |
ROFLMAO..... Do you prefer sucking up the snot or wiping their nose along their sleeves (or bare arms)? Friend's son used to wipe his nose UP with his hand. She used to say he was the only kid with dried snot on his FOREHEAD.... :rolleyes: |

I hate that also! It drives me crazy! I used to do it when I was a kid though too! It just took too much time out of play to blow my nose :p |
booger lady my sister chases her kids my kids and my other sisters kids around trying to get them to blow there nose. i just gave up chasing these brats around she does it for me thats why we call her the booger lady the snot rocket thing had me laughing so hard i almopst peed my pants but is that ever so true every male i know does that!!! :) |
Growing up in japan... I was taught not to blow my nose in public.. I usually went to bathroom to blow my nose... I don't carry around any more .. but most Japanese people carry handkerchief and tissue paper everywhere you go!! When I was in school my classroom teachers checked if we had those two in our pockets everyday! |
and if you think all that is bad when my niece has a runny nose she runs up to her mom and smears it acrossed her chest now that is really gross!!!!!!!!!!! |

I was trapped in a movie theater sitting close to a guy who did that about every 30 seconds to a minute. I thought I was going to be sick. There was nowhere else to sit and I couldn't leave because I was with a bunch of kids and didn't want to ruin it for them. It was so disgusting. I couldn't even concentrate on watching the movie. Yet another reason I have Yorkies instead of children...they don't shed or sniffle! Now as for the husband...well, I'm still working on him... :rolleyes: the sniffeling, not the shedding! |
My oldest did learn to blow her nose at around a year old... Good thing since she has bad allergies...but my youngest is a "normal" child in that area... She pretends to blow....but doesn't know how yet... By the way, you are asking a group of people who toilet train a child before its arms are long enough to reach its own rear to wipe... Oh gosh you guys, I have to tell you....it doesn't get any better when they get older. Brittani is 13 and also has a cold right now. I still have to say CONSTANTLY "Britt, go blow your nose"..."Britt brush your teeth"..."Britt wash your face" "Britt go WASH your face, don't just put water on the corner of a wash rag and run it over your cheeks" and blah blah blah. No wonder parents end up nagging so much. Its like every day is Britt's first day and I have to say it ALL again and again. |

I have to add that I can't stand that suffling it back or the sound of someone blowing their nose. Both sounds make me gag...YUCK! |
I can so relate to this...my son has been sick with the snots for almost three weeks. I had it, but now it's down to a dry, hacking, dying seal bark that goes on FOREVER once it stops. It's so bad that it almost makes you pee your pants!! Well, now everyone I work with has the crud and they all SUCK SNOT ALL DAY LONG. I'm talking 12 hours around nurses taking care of sick people sucking snot. Come on, at least I took time off to try to get better... I feel like walking around in a bubble to stay away from their yuck. |
gross......my granddaughter use to do that allot and I always made her go to the bath room and blow.....So now she does not do that around me. |
I couldn't agree with you more. I am sick of grown people doing that!!! Blow your freaking nose and then you won't have to deal with it. Well maybe thats not true becuase I know those colds that have a never ending supply of snot, but the more you blow it OUT the less that is trapped back there. Goodness gracious I am so sick of sniffers too!!! :rolleyes: |
