:mad: My cousin just married this girl, she is ok. Not my favorite person in the world, but I can tolerate her. She has always said that her sister has a lot of pets because she "fosters" dogs and cats. That was total BULL S$$T! :mad: For the past few months this girl has gone to so many shelters an adopted dogs and cats. Had them for a week or two and then when she gets tired of them, she gives them away to the first taker! :mad:

Well as of tonight, I have had ENOUGH! First thing in the morning I am going to call every shelter around here and tell them what she is doing.
This girl sits around her computer all FREAKING day and looks for Full blood dogs that people have taken to shelters for one reason or another. Then she goes to the shelter and adopts them, takes them home, and if they are not PERFECT then she just gives them away like they are old toys that she is done playing with!!!!!!!! To make matters worse this woman has 5 CHILDREN that she is neglecting because of her dog obsession! she is on the computer all day!!!! Some of the shelters around here are starting to catch on to her, so she is having people go there and adopt the dogs for her! :mad: I swear if she was around me, I would smack the pi$$ out of her for this! SHE HAS A PROBLEM!
This whole thing blew up tonight when her sister came over here to tell me that she is getting one of her pure breed cats because the poor cat has croocked wiskers! and doesn't have the perfect stance. :mad:
Then to add too it, she adopted two full blood german shepard puppies last week! And then when she got them and found out that they were not full blood she rushed off today to give them away! Then the b$tch turns around and buys ANOTHER full blood german shepard!!!!!!!! Her sister was bragging about what a perfect dog this one is! I just lost it! I told her that it was all a bunch of crap, and that her sister was an idiot! And that she was too for helping her do this! I don't care if I made her mad or not!!!! I am so mad right now! I wish there was something that I can do to get her into trouble!!! I HATE HER FOR THIS! She is treating these poor babies like they are just objects for her to play with until she gets tired of them! :mad:
Sorry to sound so mad, and I just had to vent to people who would feel the same way I do about this!

Geez...she's sound like she has an "animal hoarding" problem....I think you're right in contacting every Shelter you can think of and warn them...thats insane!

OMG she sounds like a buncher(from the Dealing Dogs HBO special)...Are you sure she is not selling the ones she doesn't want to class B dealers...They said that these people often pose as serious dog lovers and adopt dogs only to sell them to dealers who turn around and sell them to research facilities....How awful, I can see why you are so mad :mad:

I hope not!!! If so I will do whatever it takes to make sure she is punished!

Can I ask a question.....IS she giving them to good homes ? They are in the shelters when she gets them....when she gets "tired" of them - where are they going ?

Are they in a better place than the shelter ?

Can this maybe be a good thing or is she giving them to people who will abuse them ?

Thats the thing that is really bothering me. She is trying to get rid of them so fast that there is no way she can tell if she is giving them to a good home or not. She litterally found out those german shepards were not full blood on thursday morning. By thursday afternoon they were gone! There is no way she could have found them a good loving home. Especially since she gave them to a stranger that she knows nothing about. And that is not the first time either, she has done that with most of them that she has gotten tired of.

Honestly, my cousin is so dense he probably hasn't even noticed it! He is a totally clueless. And I don't think he would really care even if he did. As long as he doesn't have to take care of them. He thinks his new wife is just perfect! So I am guessing he feels the same about his sister-in-law. This is just so sad to me that I am the only one here that sees that this is not right! She has even been selling these pets to people as well. I know for a fact that she is just giving them to the first bidder. I am getting ready to make some phone calls. And even call the humaine society here to inform them, because I think they may be able to help a little bit. If they were to go to her house and see how many animals she has there they would have a fit. She has a very nice house. But she is ruining it with all these poor animals in there. The house now smells so bad that you can't stand to go inside! And there are five small children living in it!

It just amazes me what some people will do. I would alert all the shelters nearby to what is going on.

Holy cats that woman definitely needs to be on the official whacked list.

Were does she get the $$ to keep adopting animals? Our aspca used to be fairly inexpensive, but now a dog will cost $75. I'd think the shelters would have started questioning her intentions. Don't they recoginze her if she does this regularly?

How many dogs does she have? Here you are only legally allowed to have 4 dogs. If someone reports you for more than that the city comes out and you have to get rid of the extra animals

Could she be selling these animals for research? Is there a research place near you guys?

WOW! She's got some issues. :confused: How is she able to afford adopting all of these animals? Does she sell them or just give them away? Does this create some sort of health risk for her kids?

She is married to a guy that is the president of a bank. So money is not an issue for her. Hell, she is having plastic surgery in a few weeks because she doesn't want to have to work out to get a better body!

The shelters have already started to catch on to her. Thats why she has been getting other people to do it for her. It is even starting to come between her marriage. So she does it behind her husbands back, and then he comes home and there are more dogs there than when he left. And she is so unstable that he doesn't want to tell her that there is a REAL big problem. Last time I checked she had like 13 dogs and 7 cats. But she has gotten rid of so many. I have no idea what the count is right now.
What makes me mad is that she thinks she is doing these dogs and cats a favor! I am going to the humaine society here in a little while to figure out what I can do to stop this maddness! :mad:

I don't know for sure. I am sure there is somewhere close though! We have a serious problem here with dog theft.

OMG...............this person is physco! I can't believe what she is doing? She must really be mental or something!!! It is sad because around here, there is such a lot pet theft going on and you know they are looking for free pets too (not just stealing them). Those poor animals. I am looking on the bright side and hoping that they are all going to a good home and will get a good life like they deserve. If not, chances are it is back to the shelter or worse! This is horrible and I stand behind you 100% for getting this out in the open!

I was wondering the same thing... Shelters around here are not cheap.

Good for you to tell the sister off! I wish I had the opportunity to say someting to my brother-in-law.

I went through a similar situation. My husbands older brother would get a puppy (large breeds) then when the novelty wears off put them in the back yard and not play with them. These dogs then out of boredom will start digging, barking or have other behavioral problems then they say it's a bad dog and give it away! What really ticks me off is they have 3 young children who is being brought up to think it's ok to have pets, not take care of them and it's ok to give them away. No sense of responsibility.

Some people should NEVER be allowed to have ANY pets!

No kidding I completely agree! You should have to pass some type of background check before being allowed to adopt a pet.

It just breaks my heart, not only for the animals, but for her children! They are being neglected because of her! heartbreaking!

Some people shouldn't have kids either! What in the world is your cousin-in-law teaching her kids? Ugh! :mad:

What's her point in doing what she does? What happens when she find an "acceptable" animal like the Shepheard? Does she keep it?

Does the city she live in have restriction on how many animals can be at one house? The city I live in has a 3 dog maximum per house. Maybe that's the way to stop her.

In rescue and in some shelters we keep a list of problem or be aware people and share the lists with other rescue groups across the US. The city pound should be made aware of this woman but I am not sure they will do anything unless abuse is reported. Their job is to move the animals through or euthanize them - per the law. I would be very surprised if the Humane Society is letting her do this as they keep records but to be on the safe side I would tell them also along with any rescue group you can find.

There have been small rescue groups that have made $$$ off of rescue and will not give shots or s/n the dogs. They use different people and different names to get their hands on these dogs and then will breed them or resell them. This is another reason animal shelters should be doing their own s/n instead of giving the people a refund IF they s/n down the road.

This whole situation is sad and hopefully you can help put a stop to it. :(
