Thank God he has made it home safely. Please let him know how much we appreciate his service for our country. I am so impressed by the young men and women who are serving over there, or in other places. We owe them so much. Enjoy having him home! |
Lisa, what an awesome surprise you gave to your son. He deserves that and more!! Thanks for sharing your news with us. And give Brian a big hug and kiss from us and tell him that we are so very proud of all the brave men and women who are serving in Iraq and we support them 110%!!! Also tell him that I have added him to my prayer list by name and hope that he safely completes his tour in Iraq. God Bless our service men and women!! |
How wonderfully exciting. Bet he thought that was a good looking mom waiting for him too ;) Enjoy your visit and may his second assignment go quickly and safely :) |
We are so happy for you...I can not even imagine your excitement to have him back with you again!! Enjoy every minute you have with him and let him know how proud we are of him for all the hard work he puts in everyday!!! Can't wait to see pictures....LOL |
That's so great! How proud you must be of him! I so admire these men and women defending our freedom! |
How sweet! Sounds like we are "all" very proud of him! Thanks for sharing! Enjoy his visit home! :) :) :) |
YEAH, I am so glad that he is home!!!! I hope that you have a wonderful time with him! :) |
Have a wonderful time with your son while he is home. My son is also in Iraq. He came home in January for his leave. He is currently scheduled to return in May. I know there is never a dry eye when you see them for the first time after so many months. My son turns 20 on Monday and it is hard not being able to celebrate it with him. Enjoy your cruise and the time with your son. It will go by entirely too fast. |

I can only imagine how excited you must be!! Please tell your son thank-you for his committment to our country. I am so glad he has this time to kick back and enjoy all his favorite things...have a great time on the cruise :) :) |
Lisa, I'm so happy for you. I know that you've been praying hard for his return as with so many others. Have fun and post some pictures of that MARINE!!!!! |
Great news. Enjoy his leave I know you will. My nephew opted not to re up in the Marines after his 4 years were up. He said that he probably would have if he hadn't done 2 tours in Iraq. There are so many things that he still won't talk about to this day and it will be a year in June since he came home. Have fun. |
As a daughter of 2 Vietnam Vets....granddaughter of a Korean War vet.....and niece of a Desert Storm vet.....I just want to say thank you to your son and your family helping to serve our country. Hoo Ahhh!! (think I spelled that right, lol). |
