I thought I had posted this, already, but it's not here? :confused:

Since so many of you Southerners would like to have some snow, I thought since we got so much this week, I'd share.

(I know AlaskaYorkie by your standards this probably isn't much, but for around here it's plenty! Broke NYC records, I'll have you know!)

The first pic is from my front door while it was snowing Saturday night, and the other two are Sunday from my back deck. If you're interested, I posted some pics of the dogs in the snow in the My Yorkie section.

I'm getting cold just looking at the pic's (LOL)!!!! It is in the 70's here, no where close to snowing!!! Thanks for sharing your pictures!!!! :)

I want some, just a couple of inches will do. I'm further northeast than Claire, but our forecast for tomorrow is the mid 70's. Personally I'd like to have a little winter here

Hello, Nice snow! most of mine has melted away but we are in a cold snap right now and hit -43C with the windchill here today so very cold but only 1 foot of snow right now. My little guys love the snow but when it's this cold they pretty much run out pee on the door frame and come back in... :rolleyes:

Rub it in!!! LOL Carter's Mom was telling about riding in her new convertible today!!! I'm a warm weather girl at heart, and HATE the snow!! That's why I snapped pics right away because once it starts to get dirty, its just gross!!

I got MY fix of snow ....thanks Sherry Lynn....after painting part of my house outside yesterday in my SHORTS ......it was nice to see some white stuff :D :D :D (not to rub it in or anything ;) ....you're welcome to come to texas and paint with me in YOUR Shorts !)

It was 65 degrees this morning at 8 am and tomorrow the high is 33 and it is supposed to snow on Friday and Saturday! This weather is making everyone so sick and I just wish that it would either be warm or cold. NOT BOTH!!!

Ahhhh SherryLynn....so beautiful... We thought we were in for a blizzard last weekend. Ended up getting off and on mix. This has been a strange yr for NC. We usually have had 2 or 3 good one's by now... None so far. And yep, Like Jaspermom said...it was in the 60's here today!! AWESOME! and the yorkies love it.

That's like us. Only a couple of inches in early December and nothing since until this weekend and it broke all time records for NYC about 30 miles away.

Today it was 62 (according to my car) and tomorrow it should be even warmer. Back down to the 30s for the weekend...

Meanwhile the snow is all yucky - especially in the dog's yard and the roads. And when it melts and then freezes again it really sucks. Especially if it snows on top of the ice layers.

In my past life I must have been as desert princess, cuz' I hate the stuff!!

Okay... enough whining!! It IS pretty when its fresh, isn't it. :p
