I guess that's why. |

I have never ironed a pair of jeans in my life. My step mother, however, ironed everything including boxer shorts. Reminds me....when I was small, we had a housekeeper. The only thing I can remember her doing....was ironing...ironing while watching soap operas. Guess my mother wasn't too keen on ironing either ;) |
Yes, very much! My husband calls me domestically challenged! :p |
Housework is for the birds!!! I get so tired of doing the same thing over and over. After 31 years it's really gotten old. Some of you spoke about ironing and I've found, at the Dollar Store, a spray that you spray on your clothes and smooth the wrinkles out. It's called Wrinkle Releaser (I think) and it only costs $1.50. We use it all the time. I could get more done if I had never found Yorkie Talk!! It's always so tempting to sit back down and see what everyone's chatting about. So if you're new here and you love a clean house..... Run away from your computer, Run fast, and never look back!!! |

BY THE WAY AM I THE ONLY BRITISH YORKIE FAN HERE????????? |
Im the worst wife ever and I suck at housework. My husband ends up cleaning most of the time  Lately Ive been trying to clean but its so frustrating because Im so messy and I will spend a whole day cleaning and the next day its somehow trashed again. When I cook it looks like the kitchen exploded. So we've been eating out lately. |

Cept' I'll probably end up doing it... I want to say.. "IF the shirt was hung up in the closet the dog would not have chewed the button off." But I didn't. |

I have to admit that I don't mind cleaning. I seriously have mild OCD and if things are out of place and not straightened up I get very agitated! I had a party and someone used one of my decorative towels in the powder room and I was pissed! I'm also always straightening the fringe on my oriental rugs! There's a lot more but I think I've given way to much info as it is! :zip: |

So true! And, how about when you just wash the kitchen floor and the boy "forgets" you just washed it and walks in the house with shoes on?! Shoes aren't allowed in my house anyway, so I'm not sure where the "forgot" part comes in?! I don't make the bed unless we have guests- aren't we just going to mess it up again the next night?! I hate folding laundry and I refuse to do socks. Nothing is more of a waste of time than matching up socks, IMO. I also don't like to vacuum, so thankfully, my bf will do it. I do love a clean bathroom, though; (I know it's gross, but...) I don't mind cleaning the toilet, and I like to scrub the sink and the tub. I just love the smell of bleach in the bathroom! Closets are my thing- I could organize closets all day- by color and category! |

Awhile back someone posted she'd "framed" her yorkie. Her bf kept throwing his dirty clothes on the floor...so she took some poopie and put it on them....told him...."if it weren't on the floor, he wouldn't have pooped on it"....said it worked like a charm....no more clothes on the floor. :D Hmmmm, wonder if that would work on all the dirty socks at my house?? |
