Well, Pat, I don't think 65 is old, at all. I always try to live my life as if today is the first day of the rest of my life.

I guess it is my turn to "fess up" now. LOL

I turn 57 next month, and I am in no way ready to start pushing up daisies.

Getting old is definately not for sissies.

My secret to staying young: Chasing my Yorkie in the mornings with my bathrobe on, and I can just imagine what the neighbors think. Luckily, that only happened once, and now she always has a harness on.

I love YT, and I love life.

I'm 35 going on 21.... hee hee. i never feel a year older when i age so far. i think i'll always be a 21 yr old trapped in my body no matter what my age. as far as my state of mind that is...i'm just really fun loving and down to earth, so age means nothing to me. most of my dearest friends are older than me with exception of one that i grew up with.

Hey Robbie, I knew we'd get along great. I always have had friends younger than me.

Yes! Tilly and Sami... ted will be moving to San francisco to go back to his original mother my daughter, she was waiting untill she got settled into her own place, she was living with friends, so now she's all excited.. but im sad for sami and ted they won't have no one to play with and terrorize.. :p has anyone ever separated a playmate before? will sami and ted be sad? will it pass? we had ted for 5 months now.. im going to miss the mass attacks that these two play, and the cuddling when we all go to bed :( Ted is a cuddler..

Sorry, I didn't realize you had sent two messages!

I know it'll be hard for you to send him back but just try to think positive for his sake and your daughter. She'll be thrilled to get him back. And if not, you can always take him back again!

How's the no smoking and lifestyle changes? I haven't heard much from you lately. I was concerned!

I will be 48 VERY SOON.....I know that's not over 50, but I round up to the nearest 5 years, so that's 50. I'm 325 in Yorkie years.

Cindy says she's 56 but don't believe it. I have met her. She is 12.

Although I did go to a throat specialist a month ago for a small growth (no problem) she said she thought I was about 50/52..I really liked her alot. My favorite age was 50..what a great age for a woman to be forever!

I'm 64, getting social security, and loving my first ever yorkie. First one I ever saw, too. I decided to get one because of what I had read about the breed. Best decision I ever made.

Right now I have Kate and Pinkie..but in March two girl pups are coming that are owed to me...my Yorkie situtation changes during the year..LOL

I have a small growth in my throat..it looked like a skin tag to me, but my regular MD wanted it looked at.. The doctor said I could have it removed or not...it was a skin tag. I said.."Snip it out", but she said I have to go in the hospital and be put under..all for a skin tag..forget it. When I get them on my neck, I ice them and cut them off with the scissors..snip and they are gone...but I don't think I can cut this one out of my throat..LOL

Oh Pat, I thought you were about 30 !!! I guess with all that knowledge and 30 years
of breeding yorkies, that just wouldn't add up. You are special.

HaHa,,,,,boy Alison you wait until you get to Tucson. Just remember at 12 I was throwing eggs at cars that drove by the corner :p Oh, and how about the putting poop in a paperbag trick and lighting the bag :D

I am laughing because she is right. Last year got these hugh water guns and had water fights with my friends...how childish is that but what a lot of fun...I have also been know to throw water ballons over the fence wall at my neighbors :p Not fair because there are two of them and only me..So you see one little balloon go over and 2 come back...the other neighbors start laughing because they will be sitting outside and all of a sudden they see a balloon flying through the air and they know the war is on. I am sure one day I will get it from both sides :rolleyes:

Oh me! You are a brave lady to do that yourself! No, I don't think you could do that in your throat. You take care of yourself. Do they need to do a biopsy of it?

I want to be over 50. You sound like a fun bunch. Happy to be alive. I'm going to show my mom this thread. She just turned 50 in Nov. She is having a hard time adjusting. Hopefully this will help lift her spirits. It sure did mine and I'm 32 (going on 80..lol)

Tell your mom that it is great to hit 50..no more expections from the world to be perfect at everything...in fact..the older we get the less perfection we want :D

Also tell her I will throw a water balloon over the fence if she doesn't put a smile on :p and also warn her to be wary of any brown bags on fire on her front porch... ;)
