i asked 4 help so i wouldnt get scammed and most were very helpful but some of u were very rude !!! i was juts asking 4 help bcouse i am new to this !! and u all just talk about my bad grammer and me being astupid 22 year old !! and yea i pmed ppl to find out about the breeders they got there puppy from !! and they wont give me any info becouse they dont trust me with the info ! i was juts tryin to find a good puppy !! i am sorry if i type fast and dont spell great !! i have a.d.d but i am not stupid ! i am still goin to get a yorkie and i will get thehelp of a friend i found on here who helps me out! she can help me find a breeder that i can trust !! so good bye !!!

Sorry you had a bad experience here. :( Don't feel bad about the not giving you the info bit...I'm sure it was nothing personal. I don't give out the contact info for the breeders I know/work with unless I know it is OK w/ them first. Yes, the are breeders, but they are also people with lives...most people don't like their contact info just being given out...especially to people who are virtually strangers. Good luck in life and w/ your search. :)

sorry you found this to be a bad experience but i don't think anyone thinks you are stupid and if its based on your typing wow i am to be booted from here to, i am a terrible typer i get so excited my brain goes faster than the fingers!! LOL please give this a second chance there are some very helpful people here! :thumbup:

I'm so sorry you've had a bad experience here! No one is perfect at typing and I'm sorry to hear that's all you heard about when you posted. I wish you the best of luck in finding your perfect furbaby and if you can give the forum a second chance, don't give up! There are a lot of wonderful people here and quite a few fantastic breeders! :) I wish you the best of luck and hope you'll eventually come back to us!

:( :( I did not read your post when it came out. I did not read the replies. But it does not excues people for beig rude. I to, am a new member. And I cant type very well either I have to make many corrections. I hope you forgive the people that might have been rude to you. After all that's what I thought YT is all about helping others, supporting others, with the common love for Yorkies.

I mean this in a nice way. I cannot understand your posts. I have to read them more than once to get the general idea of them. It's difficult for people to give advice when they do not understand what you're asking. Maybe you can slow down a little and not use abbreviations like ppl 4 u 2 and use capitalization/punctuation so it's easier to read.

you have gotten some pretty good advice!!!!! take it from people who care! :D

I am sorry that you felt people were rude. I didn't read the entire thread so I can't comment on that.

i'm sorry to hear that you're having a bad experience here. but i'd have to agree with stewiesmom on this. and please don't take this the wrong way. i'm not trying to be rude, but trying to provide you with some constructive criticism.

i know it's very exciting with the prospects of getting a new furbaby, but it would really be helpful if you slowed down enough to compose a more coherent post. it would help others understand your question a little better and allow them to provide you with a more useful response.

perfect spelling and perfect grammar is not required, but something that exhibits a higher level of maturity than you have exhibited in your posts here would be best. this would apply not only to this message board, but any message board and anyone you decide to exchange written communication, like a reputable breeder you may email to ask about his/her puppies.

i own my own business and often receive emails from potential clients. if i were to have received an inquiry written in the same style and manner as you have written here, i would have ignored it as a joke because it doesn't seem like a serious inquiry from a mature adult.

being a smart person who is gainfully employed, own a car, moving into a home, etc, i'm sure you can see the validity of this arguement and walk away understanding what i'm saying rather than offended by a critique.

going back to original concerns about scams. don't buy a puppy online unless the breeder has lots of references. sometimes the "best deals" are the worst scams and you'll be out a couple hundred dollars and no puppy. the best way to ensure you don't get scammed is to visit and purchase from a local breeder. it may not be the cheapest route, but it'll be the best way to protect yourself from scammers.

I agree . I think if you are deciding to get a yorkie it would be best to stick around. There is just so much good info here for one to learn and there are a lot of people willing to help you when needed. Im sorry about the other thread I was just reading it.some times people come and end up with their feelings hurt and im really sorry about that. But there are alot of good people here..

I am sorry you were treated badly and had your feelings hurt. There is no excuse for that behavior on this board. Please know that it is not the majority of members who behave this way and that most members are more than willing to help in whatever way they can. Most would never consider being intentionally rude even if they were suspicious of a poster. Please reconsider as we would like you to stick around. :)

TNK2002 - I'm an English teacher also - and have also found your posts confusing.

You mentioned that you "type fast" -- I would suggest that you slow down - and as another person mentioned - not use so many abbreviations. Your posts are difficult to read and difficult to understand.

English may not be your first language, but nevertheless, you should take your Yorkie money and go to night school and learn better English. You need to learn how to write, use good grammar, spell, and punctuate. You will find yourself handicapped all your life, if you don't make an effort to improve these skills now. And, unfortunately, I think you will often find your feelings being hurt (for the rest of your life) if you don't try and improve your writing skills.

I personally would rather be able to write, spell, and punctuate a sentence than get a fifth or sixth dog. You should take whatever money you have and do what is best for you. You are very young, and I have no doubt that you'll get a Yorkie one day. They certainly are wonderful little dogs to have.

No one is judging you as a person. I'm sure you're a wonderful person, and obviously a person who loves animals.....just like the rest of us.

I wish you lived close to me. I would love to help you with your English. I have taught junior and senior high school as well as college English and have also taught English as a second language for many years. I love teaching and especially love teaching people who are eager to learn. People who are willing to learn and improve themselves are special and should be very proud of themselves.

Oh My This person has come here asking for help in finding
a breeder and about a scam .She has not come here to be told by a bunch of people that she needs help with her spelling and English...........Geez give her a break..She never once asked for help with her Grammar or spelling
Her personal life is her business. If she wanted to go to school then that's up to her too. I cant spell worth a dang and This is just plain rude.

Hi, I read all of your post and threads, I am also very sorry your feelings are hurt. However, there was a thread about puppyfind scammers here for a few weeks...In this thread were emails shared by members here from people who used someone's pictures to scam folks out of money. The grammer in a few of your post matched the grammer of the scammers. So, hindsight being 20/20 after it was mentioned on one of your threads that nobody is shipping out a Yorkie for just 200 as a payment and that is was a scam, then the grammer you used sounded exactly like the scammer's...You came off as one...I am sorry once again...I don't believe anyone was being Rude, IMHO. I think they were being cautious. Once again, I am so sorry your feelings were hurt.

I have to chime in here...I don't feel the misspelling of her words makes her less mature than someone who can spell properly. She has already acknowledged to us all that she isn't good at spelling AND that she has A.D.D. Given that the majority on YT possess good writing skills, it does not make those who don't any less of a member, nor does it give anyone the right to point out their faults or make them feel like S**t to the point that they are in tears. Can we get a little bit of kindness here. I totally feel for this girl. My best friend has dyslexia and growing up everyone made fun of her and treated her like she was mentally retarded. She still has problems writing but has always been smart as a whip. I got into so many fights through the years defending her due to people's lack of tolerance and misconceptions. So please give this girl a break. It doesn't take a genius to read what she has written, just a little consideration and patience. Definitely the perfect way to scare the less-than-perfect spellers away :thumbdown .

YorkieShadow - I'm an English teacher......and, we English teachers have this terrible disease. We can't keep our mouths shut - especially when we see someone being so misunderstood and ending up having their feelings hurt because they need help with their English. This poor girl was even accused of being a "scammer," which she probably isn't. She is probably nothing more than a nice girl who is trying to get some help here on YT. I do think she was given a lot of good advice. I have seen the same good advise given over and over again to other posters.

I hope she stays on YT.....especially if she gets a Yorkie, which I'm sure she will eventually do.

And - for the record - your spelling is just fine!

i realy dont care any more about the ppl who have to make fun of me . i am goin to stay becouse i have gotten alot of help from here and good info .who realy should care if i dont capitalize ! juts becouse i dont doesnt mean i dont know how. !i graduated from high school and collage.soo agine juts becouse i dont use it dosnt mean i dont know how !!!

Sheesh!! Pure speculation about this poster typing similar to the puppyfind scammers!! .......and YES, some members were very rude!!! This is not YT Investigations...have some heart people....I know this Board is above this type of behavior.

I have over 7000 posts and I never learned to type....I use my two pointer fingers and peck!!! And I minored in English but I make grammatical errors all the time!! I am constantly hitting the caps key and typing in caps on accident.....lol....I think most members get over stuff like that pretty quickly. :)

Well Im glad you are staying and you will learn a lot about Yorkies here. and once you think you know it all you will learn a whole lot more. So lets try and for get this ever happened and Have some fun reading about all these cute furbabies. :D

I didn't speculate, that is how I initially felt. I don't think it is nice to assume others were being rude if you don't know the fear and timing of their feelings. Sorry, JMHO

I usually hate when people make negative comments on my English.. so I hope nobody will!!.. It doesn't matter if English is your first language or not.. everyone makes a bit of mistakes in their languages... I personally think I speak and write better than some native speakers.. and that is fine.. So.... this is not ESL or English class room. So we need to chill and not to be judgmental about other people...

I am not saying to type formally on YT.... But usually those who type/speak the way presented do appear juvenile or uneducated. I am sorry if people are offended by that, but it is the truth.
Also, I can see how people might have thought she was related to the puppy scam. Usually people only mention the scam from puppyfinder once, then they learn. It was mentioned in a couple threads.
Since she says that she's not there is no way to prove it. So the best thing to do is drop it and live and learn.
