LOL.. No seriously .. I don't do HEAVY make-up at all. My face is very combination and the dry area s are DRY from all the years of sunning and the makeup just sucks in there and looks AWEFUL. I wear NO foundation at all because of this. i would rather look blotchy then wrinkley . |
By the wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy WRINKLES SUCK!!! :p   |
YES! Wrinkles suck for sure!! I experience this w/ the shadows after a few hours. It does seem to "bring out the lines on my upper lids", but this is with any shadow. I want an eye tuck but that is in my wildest dreams. I have found that a good moisturizer before applying any make up does tend to help the make up not settle into the wrinkles as much. Oh well, not much any of us can do about aging, it's just a part of life. Not a good one but a part of it! :( |

They make an eyeshadow base...just for eye shadow that tends to crease...I know there are several department store lines that carry the shadow base. Francie |
I have used their foundation for about 2 years and LOVE it...I have oily skin and work 12 hour shifts as a nurse. I want to look good all day as I am a girly-girl. The Bare minerals products stay on all day without reappling and getting shiny or separating. With other foundations, I was having to touch up powder all day. I am also a semi converted Lancome girl. I do still have and use a lot of their products, but nothing compares to the minerals foundation!! |
SIGHHHHHHHHHHHHH...... I'll just keep doing the NEKED THANG :p But if anybody is a Dr. and would like to volunteer a facelift, eye lift , browlift......I'm game :D |

LMAO :D :D :D :D :D |
I don't know if it's better to start a new post or post on this but I think this should be up there again!!! I read this ENTIRE thing and it sounds like it's amazing!! I hope it's really as light as everyone says because I hate heavy make up and I only use powder foundations Does the video show you how to put it on? I have no clue how to put makeup on! I'm excited for this, I have dry-ish skin a lot of the time so I hope it doesn't flake or do anything weird for me, even though it hasn't done that for anyone else. I'm excited for this!! Do you think I should just go with the starter package? or buy individually? |

The video shows you everything step by step.. My face used to break out a lot but ever since I started using bare minerals it has helped a lot. I use it for foundation only though because I'm still hooked on mac products and use Mac for everything else... |

Have a good Thanksgiving. |
I LOVE IT ! Sherry Lynn was AWESOME and sent me some and I use it EVERY DAY and am hooked - thank you girl - I will never forget you did that ! |
This is the only make up I've used for YEARS. I love the foundation. I actually need to reorder as we speak!!!! |
I use the sheer cover minerals and like it better than the bare minerals. I do have to put moisturizer on first or it can settle into the wrinkles. Leigh valentine has a great 3 step program for wrinkles. |
Okay, I am confused....I started a thread on Sheer Cover and Kathryn said that she really likes the Bare Minerals, as it is better and the Sheer Cover is more of a spinoff from that. I hate to not try something before I buy....and I just don't know what to use. I am goin gto have to look around in my area to see if there is a place that carries the Bare Minerals (maybe I can try it in the store first). I don't wear make-up (other than under eye concealer, every now and then, and eye liner...maybe some blush, but that is it)....I am needing something though....... So, is everyone pretty much in agreement that Bare Minerals is the way to go? How much are we talking about to get started and is it a membership/monthly mailing type thing? --if so, it would probably be better to find a store that carries it, right? |
http://cgi.ebay.com/9pc-Bare-Mineral...QQcmdZViewItem In the title this says "Bare Minerals", but I didn't know if that was it or not....can someone help? Oh, we have a Sephora store near us!!! YAY! So, I can go up there and check it out first before I buy.............. |
I've been using Bare Minerals for many many years - I would NEVER use anything else - EVER! I absolutely adore it. Just today someone said to me "Your skin is gorgeous". I am 55 years old and my face is a mass of brown spots and damaged skin from years of tanning in the sun - but the Bare Minerals make all the difference in the world. If I didn't have it on - no one would EVER say that I have gorgeous skin - trust me on that!!! |
I have wanted to try this product for a long time now. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. But I guess if it lasts 6-9 months that is pretty good but still pricey in my opinion. |

Ulta carriers it as well. That's where I get mine. |
Have You Tried Every Day Minerals?? There is a company called Everydayminerals and this is similar to bare minerals and much less expensive. You can also order samples FOR FREE except you have to pay for shipping , which was about 3.45 for Florida. You get a total of 3 samples of foundation, a blush, a concelear or finishing dust. They are really generous amount. I can't use them all the time, because my skin is so dry, but those that are interested in trying the samples for free, you might want to check this out. www.everydayminerals.com |
