Again, the reason for lower participation in this forum like many others is mostly Facebook. It didn't happen overnight.

Trolls are not always obvious. Some of them post sweet messages with hidden intentions which usually only the victim really sees/understands. They can be just as hurtful as the ones who come right out and behave badly. The obvious ones were taken care of here over the years by the moderators and admin. This has always been a relatively mild forum because we have mods and an admin who care and run a tighter ship than most. But, the bottom line, they are everywhere, even on Facebook.

:thumbup::thumbup: A lot of people want instant replys so they go to facebook for that. Very true about how some of them are.

Better sweet or even arch than those magical mystery inflections in dark insinuations, implications and inexplicable hints directed at a particular perceived 'wrong-un' or two in posts that go right over the head of all but the commentator. Just sayin', you catch more flies with honey than vinegar.......and it tastes way better, leaves a better aftertaste.

So, you are saying trolls who post sweet messages with underlying nasty implications are the way to go?

But, YES, some trolls can act sweet all the while doing their best to push other people's buttons. People who want to bother others can be relentless and be nasty or sweet.

Oh, now, Linda, you know I never give up if there's an unresolved issue I don't understand and it seemed to me to be exactly what you were saying. What "underlying nasty implications" do you see in sweet posts?

Can't you just let me personally know how you personally discern if a plain, non-hostile, non-aggressive, just plain old comment that is kind in nature and spirit and non-accusatory, basically sweet in substance with no intention of hurting any "victim" is trolling with underlying nasty implications and not just an honest comment? I (and likely others) am trying to keep from offending you or others who see any underlying nasty implications as this is a forum I enjoy and want to continue to do so w/out giving offense. It bothers me that you chose to respond to my thoughts with this tact and really do want to understand if I've been offensive or hurtful. Can't we just settle this with an outright answer from you?
