this is our little guardian angel. . . this was done in pencil, i added the wings and the halo so i didnt stick strictly to the original.... i also did a fairy illustration in watercolor, but its not completely done yet... so that one will be posted later

Oh I love it!!! I'm so sorry she passed. I have a niece who is almost 4. I think the wings are just perfect!!

yeah... thats right....
It is unfortunate, i had some way better pictures that would haev been better than the one i chose, but they were all on my mothers computer, and her computer died a very painful death... it was riddled with viruses and the such, everything on the hardrive was gone... iretreivable. now we only have a few left :(

O my, you're little niece passed away? I'm sorry, I didn't know. :cry8: Guess that would explain the wings. I thought you were just saying that she was an angelic child. :angel2dl:

I am going to take our old laptop to this guy up the road. I have heard he can retrieve information off a hard drive for about $90. Haven't had a chance to get it over there, but we have a lot of pictures and geneology information on there we would like to get back.

lol....... yes she was an angelic child... but now she is the real thing...
Her picture has her dates on it. . . she passed in 2003, it took me this long to get it done... she was born with congenital leukemia, she had a bone marrow transplant and chemo, and was in remision for three years (that is usually the 'safe' point where there is an unspoken rule that is will most likely not come back... unfortunatly she didnt prove that statistic true) it came back and she was gone pretty quickly. . . which is the way these things work...

I am so sorry! I have a very good friend who's son got leukemia at age 2. He was finally considered cured at age 6 and was able to begin 1st grade. Boy did we have him a spoiled brat by then. An awful lot for a little one and their family and friends to go through.

TOO CUTE !! I had Angel wings when I was born....then they turned into little DEVIL HORNS lol - that's what my mom told me hehe :)

LOL !! Yes but RED is my color ! :D When I was a kid I was into EVERYTHING ...my mom even threatened to draw little horns on my portrait once :D

and now - with my own (youngest) son - I DID give him some on a picture - like mother like son I guess :)
