Sending our best to Florida Watching Irma coverage on TV makes me afraid to go outside -- and I live in Alaska! Sending my best to YTers and everyone in the hurricane's path. I know Sugarmamma evacuated from her home in Sarasota and expects to lose her condo. I'm still worried about her because she and her two sweet Yorkies went to Tampa, which is expected to be hit hard too. Good luck, everyone. |
Been watching the progress all day! Texas, now this! Starting to get twitchy when the wind blows! Prayers and best wishes for all those in harms way |
Thanks Mike. It looks like we all came out smelling pretty rosy in my area thank GOD! It's not over yet for Floria and north tho, sadly. My family and I and our collective 4 dogs are ALL safe. Thank you for your thoughts, prayers and welfare checks! So far my condo is amazingly dry and still has power. My friends in other parts of the state haven't been quite as lucky. Praying everyone comes through this safely |
So good to hear! |

Oh dear, I hope all this changes quickly for you folks. We are sending hugs and strong vibes! |
Texas floods I am so sorry to hear about the devastation caused my the FLA storm and pray all of you there are surviving and things are improving. But I wonder what is going on in TX now? The news has stopped reporting on the status of you poor Texans? Hoping that your situation is getting better. |
Yea it is creepy how they just stopped coverage, I can't turn on my TV without nonstop news and videos of my city.. I don't even get the rest of the state! I know they need help just as much as we do! I'm lucky I just have a hole in my porch and two really ugly vehicles so I can at least help out friends that still don't have power or have flooded homes. I still can't get to my dads and don't have a idea of when the water will go down so I can reach his house. |
That was NOT fun! I just got my power back last night. The house was up to 87 degrees! We are all safe and cooler now. Lost my backyard fence. The amazing part about that is that the family on the other side of the fence has 2 yorkies. So we've just been letting them roam both yards and now they have double the space and new playmates. |
Happy to hear that you all are safe |
