I also have a great book by Gaven DeBecker called Fear Less, it is the sequel to The Gift of Fear, which is a book that every woman should read. Unfortunately I loaned the Gift of Fear to a person who never returned it. :(

What is it about?

The Gift of Fear -- the first book -- teaches you the difference between real and imagined fear on a personal basis. How to learn to rely on your natural instincts and to listen to the "flight or fight" mechanism that each of us has.

Fear Less, the sequel teaches how to establish between real and imagined fears in regards to things like air travel, terrorism, and such. It was written shortly after 9/11 because so many people had so much unfounded fear.

Here is a synopsis from his biography on the cover of his book: Gavin De Becker is widely considered America's leading expert on predicting and managing violent behavior.
