iPad 2 update I just updated my system from 7 to 9 and now my iPad is painfully slow, any one had the same issue? Have plenty of memory to that is not the problem. Wish I could revert to 7. |
I did the same with my ipad2 and have the same issue. The ipad2 is a pretty old version and I don't think you'll be able to speed it up. |
Ipad2 Thanks for your reply. So I am not alone! I don't see much improvement in the upgrade so wish I could reverse it, but can't. I had hoped the Genius could do something but it seems not. Grrr! Thanks again. :) |
Yep, they never let you go back! |
That's why I HATE doing updates! I never have the latest and greatest toys. I usually buy used on Craigslist for hundreds sometimes thousands less! They never take into consideration the people who have older models, and those OS cannot run the latest software! Actually, I'm sure they DO take us into account, that we don't know what we are doing, blindly trust them, mess up our stuff, which they can't fix, then we have to buy the new ones. And then they go: *rubs palms together* Hee hee hee. Nah, F that! I don't do software updates unless I can no longer run what I need to do. Our iPad is the 3, and even still I have ignored the update for a few years. One of bf's games says it needs an update to play, but we don't have enough memory to update anyway so we won't. |
The last major Apple update I did on my iPhone 5 - I lost Siri and dictation! I took my phone to the Apple store and they said it's the hardware. Really? I found it so difficult to believe that I updated my phone and all of a sudden the hardware is faulty. :( |
