| Tink04 | 02-09-2016 08:17 AM | Thank you for the advice - I feel better knowing I'm not alone in having my feelings hurt. I've gotten over it - movin' on :)...
I like the suggestion of volunterring at a shelter, and I think this is a really good idea for meeting new friends - becuse I know they would love critters as much as I do.
As for my friend, the more I think about it, the less I really care. After I found out Tinky's diagnosis (and she knew I was very very upset) she never texted, called, or anything - when I have other friends who do check on her. I know it sounds silly, but this means a lot to me. The more I think about it, she really isn't as good of a friend as I thought. I know if one of my friends pups was sick I would at least check in. And I'm the only one who initiates contact with her, always the first to call or text. Quote:

Sorry to hear you're so bothered by this! I've experienced something similar so I can understand. I'm also an introvert and think my dog is my only best friend :D
But then again, I've also been bridesmaid to another girl and it's not all that great. I'd rather not be a bridesmaid again, even though I was hurt the other girl didn't make me one.
I had no idea, some brides make you buy the bridesmaid dresses? I guess I was lucky, mine was bought for me by the bride. | Wow - you were lucky. Any wedding I've known the bridesmaids buy their own dresses, plus pay for wedding shower, bachelorette party, and other costs. It definitely is a commitment.
All is well - I'd rather spend time with Tinkerbell anyway :D:aimeeyork |
