Good Article, but I'm going to keep my :zip: two cents to myself, since you asked us too!! |
That's a good article, thanks! And that is so true about people referring to dogs as the wrong breed when in fact it is a mixed breed, so people get the wrong impression about certain breeds. I can't believe the vet said that he has more problems w/ yorkies! That's crazy! |
Good article. And some good points to ponder. I also will keep my 2 cents to myself! |
I think it is a good article also. My vet confirmed to be along with 2 different groomers that some of the worse dogs for biting are Yorkies in their opinion. Because of their size this is their first defense, bite and ask questions later. I have grown up (labs, english springer, all hunting types)with and always had dogs (labs & collies) but I have been bitten more with this breed - well in fact this is the only breed that has ever bitten me but mine have all come through rescue so I am not sure if this is why or the terrier come out in them. I have noticed that the smaller the dog in my gang of 10 the more inclination to bite. It is interesting and I wonder how much the breeding had to do with this. |
Its a good thing they've never heard of Gizmo the killer Yorkie! :D |
