I have made a new best friend from YT
 

I have been on YT for almost a year now. I have made friends and formed relationships with many of you on here. Well, I have someone special I wanted to thank. She is my new best friend and it's all thanks to Yorkie Talk!!
Today is my birthday and yesterday I received a package in the mail!!
Bentley&Bitsy'smom (Michelle) sent me a package and I got it yesterday!!! It had a beautifully wrapped oval basket filled with: A book "Enter His Gates" a daily journey into the Master's Presence, 4 items from Bath and Body works (where I get all my stufff :) ) Cherry Blossom bubblebath,showergel,and body lotion and hand lotion, C.O. Bigelow Tried and True Face Care Kit, bath and shower headband (pink, my favorite), and the card was a book. "This giftbook is an insprirational collection of quotes, scripture and commentary that celebrates the unique purpose God has created for each of us. What a fantastic way to say 'Happy Birthday' ". The card/book is 39 pages!! Michele is the sweetest person in the world. I was in shock. I have met so many special people here, and I have to say that YT has given me a new best friend!! Michelle that's you!! :hug: :hug: :hug: :hug:

AH! That was very nice of Michelle, I have got to know some really great people on this site. It is great. :thumbup:

This is so touching. Yet another reason why our Yorkies are such blessings; as they have the abilitity for their humans to create some special relationships with other people. :thumbup:

It sounds like you had a very special Birthday and that Michelle is truly a special lady!! I'm thrilled for both of you. ;)

Bentley & Bitsy's Mom is pretty terrific! Lucky for me I get to meet her someday soon! It would be really awesome to meet YOU too someday, my friend!

Aw, that is so sweet, just like you!!! It is funny how you come to consider other members as friends even though you just talk on line! My mom thinks it's funny. I said, the only difference between these friends and the ones I have here are I've never actually seen these and they live far away!

I too have made some really good friends here on YT. I have only had the pleasure of meeting one of them in person. But the future is bright in more meetings... I feel very blessed to be a part of this community!!! As many of us had. The friendship, the support of one another, prayers, knowledge we gain, so many things to list... :p

Yes, this place is such a great place to meet nice people. We all share in the same love of our animals (not only Yorkies) and we have a common bond in that.

When I first found this site, I really thought it was nothing more than an "information station" and didn't post a whole lot. But after settling in and really reading the comradarie you all share, your passion and love of the Yorkie, and the strong friendships formed, I started to feel more comfortable in posting. I also have made several neat friends from all over the US. It's amazing. My husband doesn't understand in the least little bit. LOL

Yorkie people ARE special people. I have found that out just being on this forum.

Waistful, Where do you live in Maryland. I live in Glen Burnie. I have one of Bently and Bitsy's Pups (Daisy). Michelle is going to watch her and Diesel, our other yorkie when we go to lowes motor speedway in April.

I have met her in person and she is such a sweetheart.
