It has taken me three hours to apply for a job which pays less than my previous job - WHY..


Am I really that undeveloped with regards to written communication? Ugh, I had to fill out an online form about all of my qualifications etc. Remember the good old days when you could just saunter up to a place of employment and say, "Hey, looking for anyone?" :p


At least Teddy has behaved today! Probably because I've put his topknot too far forward and he's too embarrassed to interact much...:eek:

Good Luck, don't give up, the job market is opening up quite a bit depending on the type you want.

I noticed a few typos in my last post so maybe I'm just incompetent and that's why I need extra time..haha!

I hadn't noticed the OP was in the UK. I'm pretty sure they are having a hard time right now.

:D Misty - I think it's because you keep getting side-tracked - for instance....Where did I put that sauce? Why didn't I enter Sir Teddykins for Crufts? Why haven't I popped down to London to visit with Sally + Harry?!!!? :D xxx

Job hunting...yuck! I hate all the online applications! They are so time consuming, and want so much information, when you haven't yet even been considered for the job. And so many companies online websites are horrible and difficult to navigate. But stick with it! I just started a new job in January! i'd been applying for 2-3 jobs per week since mid- August. Then, I quit my other job before Christmas, and started applying hardcore, 5-7 per day. Within three weeks I had a job!

Thanks so much!!! Your results are inspiring but, to be fair, you worked hard! 5-7 apps a day is truly hardcore!


It is hard work to get a job - the job itself is easy - at least, that is my experience..haha


Then, I'm worried about going back to work and leaving Teddy..

Good luck on the job search. It does sound like its own job. I can see why you could be distracted looking at such an adorable face. :)
