I watched a bit last night - too flippin' CUTE! |
After channel surfing I caught the last hour, large working breeds. Beautiful dogs. I LOVE the small breeds (wonder why) love, love love those little prancing Yorkies with their beautiful coats flowing when they do their walk. |
I caught just the tail end of it before falling asleep. I think they were deciding best of show. |
From 11am - 1pm today, Fox Sports had the agility finals. Those dogs were amazing! |
Okay who has got their TV tuned to Westminster? |
Hound Group up first I love the Afhgans movement! Black and Tan moved well and 13 and 15" Beagles. The Bloodhound I did not like so much as I did last year. Long haired Daschund good movement. Smooth hair - loved her attitude! Wow I loved all the Daschund movement! Irish Wolfhound - not bad substance - not impressed with his movement - handler? I like that Otterhound! Ohhhhh, Saluki - not sure ... started off well - then.... Deerhound looked like they were really hurting out there. And very young too only 3yrs old. Whippet looked good. So my picks Afghan Beagle 15 longhaired Daschund Otterhand Bloodhound Black and Tan Greyhound What did I miis? Whippet. Okay she is pulling beagle wins it! and the Otterhound gets agroup Bloodhound, Whippet, placement - Will Alexander from Canada with a Canadian Beagle won the Group1 ! WAy to go Will. Whooowooo |
Sorry not Whippet - Black and Tan |
Shihtzu shown by Luke (Razzles' handler) takes the group 1 Yorkshire Terrier is 3rd. |
I loved the Havanese and Yorkie, and the shin tsu is also beautiful. |

Coton de Tulear is now being shown for the first time in the non sporting group. |
I saw and I liked! American Eskimo I liked movement Standard Poodle Coton Du Tulear Bichon Frises Chow Chow Tibetan Terrier Bulldog This is such a hard group so many different breeds sourced from different working abilities... |
Did not do too bad... I acutally forgot aobut the Dalmation. Got the Std Poodle, Bichon Frises, Bulldog, American Eskimo. They go too fast for 1st 2nd third. Lol |
I selected the Beagle, the Standard Poodle, and the Old English Sheepdog. Glad to see the Yorkie at least "lit the board" in 3rd place....just can not imagine why in the world we don't do better with all the beautiful Yorkies we have. I have to try to watch the live streaming of the class with the salukies in it...my vet tech, Gerri Thornton, is owner/breeder/handler of salukis....she was showing her saluki and I want to see how she did in the class....she was going to show my Parquin but he blew past the size standard by a LONG shot and did not make the show ring! He certainly was gorgeous, if he was not the size of a shetland pony! |
