Pee Pads in Drs. Office I went to the Dr. today, needed an injection a few inches above my ankle, he put a pee pad under my leg to absorb the blood from many injections I had to get. Soooo, did the medical field copy canine pee pads, OR did someone copy cat what physicians use and called it pee pads???? |
They are called chuxs or just disposable underpads and they have various uses. I don't have a clue why any professional in the medical field would call them "pee pads". |
Chux have been around in the medical field for many, many years.....I do not ever remember being without them in the hospital, for patient care, and I go back to 1969-1970. |

I make jokes puupy type jokes with my Dr like barking... well at least my knee Dr because those shots I am so used to... the hand and neck shots I still freak out about and go into panic mode. |
The cases of pee pads I buy from a yt'er are labeled as protection pads for people. I don't care as long as they work and the price is right. |
From what I saw of the Chux pad and pee pad was no difference, serves the same purpose, holds wetness same as diapers. I bought a package when I got cody, but he is out doors only. Now I have a use for them, cut to size and place under my in door plants lol. |
