This is not food or sign related but it is a true story. A now deceased client was named Mr I.M. Smellie. AND, he had the audacity to be offended when someone laughed at his name! Arrogant, much? |

These are all so funny. Reminds me of Jay Leno's segments featuring advertisements with misspellings and unfortunate business names. We see a lot of unfortunate politician names around here, which I cannot think of right now. They are as funny as Arizona Senator Flake, whose son recently got out of a charge of animal neglect. :( Anyway, Flake is not a great name to have in politics, lol. |
I used to go to a doctor named Dr. Malarkey. The first time I brought in a doctor's excuse slip to work, they died laughing. They thought it was fake and that I was trying to be funny. |

Here's a couple you might enjoy. Funny Misspellings | Engrish & Funny Typos The first one has an explanation below, don't waste your time trying to decipher. |
There is a very busy Chinese restaurant back by my dad's house. It's called New Capital but the sign outside is New Catipal. Every single Yelp review has a pic of this typo and they don't care to change it. And it's one of those signs where all the letters are separate, so it's not like they would have to order a new sign, just swap the P and T! But they are so busy they couldn't care less. |
There's a business close to me called "Yow Chiropractor", named after the owner. I laugh every time I see it. Supposedly he's good, but I'm not brave enough to try. |
