Talk about well trained...WOW! |
Wow, that took some training! Someone I know went to Germany and said the dogs are all off leash. They will sit outside the stores and wait for their owner. These shepherds are something else...even know with a simple signal to wait at the curb. Thank you for sharing with us. :) |
When I worked in NYC, Manhattan, 14th st and 8th ave. almost as busy as 42nd st. There were guys walking one and two big dogs, Golden retrievers, Labs and I remember one guy with a Shepard, all off leash, trained just like on the video, NY has a leash law, I use to suck in my breath when I would see them, also so very amazed at how well trained they were. But 5 at one times, walking so close to each other absolutely amazing. So why can't we get two yorkies to walk without one going in one direction and the other going in opposite direction lol. Thanks for sharing that video. |
I can't even imagine my dogs doing that! Especially Hannah who would never run from me. Right! And my Min Pin?? Ha ha ha! And downtown Houston??? |
That's very impressive, especially how close they're walking to him and each other. Our first dog/yorkie was a tiny 3lber and my granddad would walk her without a leash, she'd walk ahead of him to the corner, wait for him to catch up, then arch her back so he could get his hand under her to carry her across the street. This was back in the 70's, wouldn't dream of having a dog off leash now. |
All it would take is one squirrel...:animal37 |
