Yes, we went on a cruise, so we were only there for a day. But we saw a lot of critters. The sloth actually moved and I was able to get that shot of his face. The guide said usually they don't move and you just see a brown blob in the trees, so we were lucky! The rainforests are crazy there. The trees are giant. I would like to go back some day. I have more pics on my FB if you're interested. |

I want a baby girl chimp, could treat her like a baby, |
A "micro" pig! SOOOO freakin' cute. I saw one while we were camping this past summer and mistook it for a dog at first. A monkey because, cuteness. I've always wanted a ferret but don't think it would go over well with Jackson, plus the mess and expense (I've heard they can be very pricey with lots of vet visits). |
I was just watching an episode of Jack Hanna's show today. They showed a rescue that specializes in pigs. They showed a bunch of the "teacup" pigs. They went through the same craze as the "teacup" yorkies. Fully grown, they were still pretty big! One was in an apt in San Francisco and got too big. |
Tiger Elephant Crocodile Giraffe Kangaroo But realistically, a chinchilla (someday) |

I read that these miniature pigs are being falsely advertised as 12 pounds full grown. The average adult weight is more like 40 - 50 pounds. Did you see the story of the woman who was kicked off the plane this week because her emotional support pig was being disruptive? There are photos here: Woman Kicked Off Plane For Bringing "Disruptive" Pig As Emotional Support: Gothamist |
I did hear about that! I always think if an animal is for emotional support, or a working dog, they should be very well behaved. At the very least potty trained! Yeah it's a shame that mini pig breeders say they only get to about 12 pounds. That's ridiculously small. |
