Yippie snow is on it's way They are calling for 6 to 10 inches of snow for The Pocono’s. I spent the day preparing for this pre-holiday event. Shovels all ready, ice melt on deck, gassed up the snow blower, fired her up, she’s ready to go. I can’t wait to see that wonderful snow plow man :eek:, the one that compacts the front of my driveway that one needs an earth mover to make a starter path for snow blower. Lil boy Cody will be happy, he loves the snow :woof: I'll have to bundle him up, he got his G.I. hair cut today. I am hoping with the hours of prepping, getting a head start, we'll just get flurries. |
I'm hoping it doesn't get too bad before noon tomorrow. My brother is coming up from southern Pa. and traveling to Upstate NY. After that it can snow all it wants! |
I'm already looking forward to spring. It's cold and damp, just started to rain and SAD is beginning to kick in. Somebody shine some bright lights on me. |
Oooo, you'll have to take some piccies of the freshly fallen pristine snow - I love seeing that. Here in the desert where it's 76 degrees today...we don't get to experience the winter wonderland. Enjoy the white fluff! |

2 Attachment(s) I'll take Az temps anytime, I hate this white stuff, and the cold, I'm a summer baby LOVE, LOVE the summer. But the snow is pretty as long as I don't have to drive in it. It's been snowing 5 hours so far I hace 4 1/2 inches of really heavy snow, lights have been flickering, hope the power goes off, I'll see if my stand by generator works lol. I got it last summer, no power outage since I got it installed. I attached a pic of my birch tree, looks like my truck is in a tunnel lol. I'll be :cry: when I have to get out there and see if the snow blower will clear this heavy wet snow. |

Thanks for sharing the photos of the snow..... If I caught the news correctly, we might get 2-4" tomorrow(it might hit too far north though). Looking forward to taking Gucci and the new dog, Zippy, out for a walk in it. :rolleyes: |
