I am SO upset this morning
 

So my boyfriend called me not too long ago. Some $^&*@#! jackass ran him off the road this morning. This guy went into oncoming traffic so he could pass the guy in front of him and then tried to put on his brakes when he saw my boyfriend driving toward him. Did HE try to get out of the way? NO. So my boyfriend had to make the quick decision of eff up his car by going into the ditch, or hit this guy head on and cause some serious bodily damage. Luckily, he is smart and just chose the ditch. So then the guy that caused the accident just keeps on going. What if Mark was hurt, would he just have left him for dead?! And since Mark was in the flipping ditch, he couldn't see a license plate number. I am so furious, there is NOTHING I despise more than a stupid driver. So now Mark has to buy a new mirror, b/c it snapped off, and fix the paint b/c he has a black car and now has humongous scratches all across it. I am just happy that he is safe. I told him he needs to call the cops anyway bc he lives in an area where that guy probably drives that way everyday. And if he did it to Mark, he very well could do it to someone else. He has a description of the car, but no other info, do you think it would even be worth calling? Sorry for such a long post but GRRRRRR.

And YES I think he should call the cops! He should have done it right then and there! Sometimes traffic cams can get a photo of what happened.....and they could keep an eye out for further problems from a car with that make and model, etc.

We need to start an "I hate stupid drivers" club, lol. He lives in a pretty rural area so I don't think they have the cameras but I am definitely going to have him call the cops whenever he gets to my house after work.

Thats terribile. I'm glad he was OK. A Head on crash could have killed him!

First let me say I am so glad your BF is ok! Yes he should report it!

Same kind of thing happened to my husband almost 9 years ago...only he WAS hit head on. He has had 16 surgeries and is still not ok. There are more surgeries in the future, we just don't know how many or when! The jerk who hit him walked away with a mild sprained ankle. Every bone in my husbands feet and ankles were broken or shattered. His knee and hip were broken and he has 3 herniated disks in his back....the guy never even said he was sorry.

I'm with you, I can't stand these jerks who feel that the 2 minutes they save by driving unsafely is worth ruining someone elses life!

Again, I am just glad your BF is ok...the car can be fixed he can't be replaced.

Oh Kathy, that is terrible! I am so glad that Mark was able to get off the road safely. I haven't had to drive that much for like a month because of Christmas break, but I am not looking forward to next Tuesday when I'll be driving 2 hours a day again. Too many dumbos on the road!

Thank goodness Mark is okay. The arrogance of some drivers. He could have easily killed someone. I hope that they find that driver!

I was hit about 6 years ago by a guy who "never saw the red light". I still hate to be in a car and I'm always sure everyone is going to hit me. It's horrbile to have to put your trust in other drivers when you are on the road. I'm glad he's ok.

I hate driving. I didn't get my license until I was 19 b/c it just scares me. I'm a good driver of course, it's just everyone else that sucks. :D hehehe. It makes me so nervous to have to drive in traffic and stuff b/c there is always that idiot that wants to weave in and out or something totally dangerous in the situation. and when people dont use blinkers and they just cut infront of you!!! AHHH. I hate it! LOL. I hope to God that I never get into a scary accident, b/c I probably wouldn't be able to drive for a long, long time.
