It's been an increasing trend for decades. Everything from the ease of information to political correctness run a muck. Parents not spanking to not being allowed to spank. Rewriting of history to remove pride in ones country, the loss of the melting pot formula, everyone is an individual and they owe allegiance to no one any more. The media sensationalizes an event and creates a reaction that they know will create more death and misery that is news worthy. The media omits facts in order to create a story that enrages the populace. The WTO riots here in Seattle were created by the media, 15ish years ago. The way they reported it throughout the day, they drew onlookers and parasites into downtown Seattle. The presentation of the facts, the way they presented them, is what caused the conflict between police and the crowd. |

Good, I was recalling, 2nd and third year chemistry would have better students, honors even better! It's that first year chem, those students, well, it would be more challenging for a teacher today. |

Hilarious - unfortunately! |
I don't feel there is a lack of respect for police officers. I think, though, that it's the same as w/ ANY profession - in that there are very, very bad apples in ALL professions. When a very bad apples shows up, however, within a police force - it's of very grave concern, imo, since they carry guns and have the authority to shoot and kill. |
