Robin Williams So I was feeding Callie and watching wheel of fortune with my grandfather. Then a breaking news thing came on and they said Robin Williams had passed away. Then they said it could have been suicide. That is so very sad. |
It is very sad. He has always been one of my favorite actors. |

So tragic. |
So sad. He made so many people happy. There will be a big void for comedy now... |
Oh no, I hadn't heard. That is soooo sad, I really liked him. I know he had many years of sobriety but had returned to rehab a few times in recent years. |
It is just so sad how someone that made so many people absolutely dissolve into hysterical laughter just by watching him....some one that was so respected and adored and held in such high esteem among his peers as well as his adoring fans, which counted in the millions all over the world.....how tragic that such a spirit is soooooooo lost in his own darkness, in his own mind, that he sees no way out but suicide. Soooooooo sad...........sooooooooo unnecessary......such a waste........ |
It so sad. He's easily one of my favorite actors. Such talent! His stand up specials were fantastic. I was so excited for Crazy Ones to start back up on CBS and the potential for another Ms. Doubtfire. I'm so incredibly saddened to learn about his death. He will be greatly missed. Goes to show mental illness can affect anyone. |
Depression is so easily hidden behind jokes and comedy. RIP Robin, you were one of the greats. |
Such a tragedy to lose a great actor and comedian. I can't imagine what he was going through. I hope he rests in peace and he will be missed by all! |
So sad. I loved his sense of humor. |
Such a tragedy. Ironically, one of my favorite movies he ever made was "What Dreams may Come". :( |
When I heard this last night, I felt so terrible for him and his family...just heartbreaking. I can't even imagine the pain he was in to have to do this :(. Apparently, he was in rehab last month too - so you'd think things would be looking up, but I guess not. Addiction + depression is so deadly. RIP sweet man. |
dog I was saddened by his death. With so many interventions out there you would think he could have been helped. Unless you have been through depression you cannot understand this. It is like being in that haunted house room in Disneyland and going down with all four walls closing in and no way out. Scary, lonely, helpless feeling. I do believe God in His mercy understands this. We humans do not. I pray for his family and those friends who loved him. We will never forget such a talented man! |
RIP. Mork. You will be missed. |
Really sad. :( |
I am still shocked and sadden at his loss. Seeing all the tributes to him on tv and endless lists of movies etc. he has been a part of is such a crazy reminder of what an amazingly talent guy he was. I now want to go re-watch so many of his movies, especially the comedies. |
Hope you will be able to view this tribute from FB: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v...type=2&theater |
He was an amazing actor, I LOVED all his movies. He will be greatly missed. |

I think until and unless we truly take away the stigma, people will continue to suffer in silence. We need to treat diseases above the neck the SAME as we treat diseases below the neck...as a disease, not a choice! |

They say he had also just been dx'd with Parkinson and that may have played a roll. Still so very, very sad. |
