I saw this on FB and totally agree!!!! What I can't understand is he was in CO and then droe to CA to abandon his dog?????? Sound like he's got a screw lose to me. Poor dog :(

Omg, I am incensed right now! I can't believe how cold and flat this human being acted as he was dumping his dog, what the ______ ? I hate this man, I really do. That picture of that poor baby running after the car.....just beyond heartbreaking. I can only hope they find Bronson again and that he finds the most beautiful, loving home EVER. This story brings tears to my eyes, it really does. :(

That has got to be one of the most heart wrenching visuals I have seen! I am so glad this guy is charged with Animal Cruelty! I can't even imagine what goes on in the inside of some-one who could do this to their dog!

I wish we had a National Registry of Animal Abusers! I do wonder what was "truly" the issue with the GSD? Needed to much exercise? Barked too much. I think everyone should have to pass a psychological readiness test to own any dog:(

That monster probably had to tie poor Bronson up or do something drastic to keep him from loyally following him wherever he went. I pray that sweet dog is okay somewhere. I wish the human race could abandon that jerk of a man.

You know what makes me really sad about all of this? He says he picked him up as a stray. Usually once a stray gets used to living in a home, whether it be outside in the heat or cold, they trust and love their human. Even though this dog was probably in a bad situation according to us dog lovers (dog spoilers!), the dog loved this horrible person. That was all he knew, and he thought that he was loved. He thought he was rescued by this person, just to abandon him. I wonder what the REAL reason was? I mean besides him being a total jack ass and selfish person.

It is worse - just as you say - in that this poor baby has been at least twice or more failed by humans - even if the first time was due to his escaping from a fenced yard or out the front door of a loving home - that owner failed him by not keeping him secure in his premises and making every allowance for how he might get out. But just as likely, he was abandoned or surrendered and then this wonderful human comes alone, takes him in, gives him shelter, food,water and some sort of bond develops and he's finally feeling secure and then, boom, his hero just walks out and leaves him with strangers in a strange, scary place and this poor little guy isn't going to be alone again if he can help it - he goes after his master so he won't be left to fend for himself ever again. He's a social, pack animal and wants his pack back. No doubt he thought for sure he could get to his human and things would be okay once his human saw him following him. Dogs live in hope. Except - he's apparently struck out again - and who knows what happened to the poor baby this time if it made that guy mad that he was following him, showing him up as abandoning his dog to anyone watching. I hope there is such a thing as karma sometimes!

This jerk's unbelievably disgusting! After reading this post, I googled Bronson, praying he'd been found. This article says the idiot adopted Bronson from the Denver Animal Shelter last October! Poor Bronson, I hope he's found soon. :(

It seems many people are missing half a brain. One of the girls from jury duty very happily told me she would love a dog, but can't stand them after 2 days. :rolleyes: She always gives them away after 2 days because they don't know anything..... Oy.....

And she got picked for jury duty?!

Hahahaha!! She's an alternate. They're leaving the real decisions to me. ;)

How sad :( That picture is heartbreaking! I just don't understand how someone could do that.
