Trader Joes or Whole Foods must haves I live in the boon docks and have been to a Whole Foods once in my life. We are going to St. Louis Wednesday and will be close to both a Whole Foods and Trader Joes. What are the things you buy at Whole Foods or Trader Joes that you love either Yorkie or human things. The last time I was at Whole Foods I bought some of their olive oil and love it, going to get more of that. |
I am addicted to the Pita Bite Crackers. They are so good. I always have three boxes in the house ! lol |

I have never been really close enough to a whole foods to know what I like from there.. so this list is from Trader Joes and these are the must haves Ive been getting every time I do make it to a Trader Joes over the years (the closest one is a 1/2 hr from me, so I don't go there often) I buy things that are quick & easy to make for lunches or dinners for 1 person, so most of my TJs purchases are frozen foods. - their brand of Salsa (I get the mild & hot and mix them together) - their brand of Gazpacho soup - Biryani Rice (now its a frozen meal with veggie dumplings, still good) - Flax seed Tortilla chips, the 3 different veggie flavors - Nuts about chocolate & raspberries trail mix! - Frozen Orange chicken - Frozen garlic french fries - Garlic Naan bread - Frozen Sheppards Pie (this is absolutely delicious) - Frozen butter chicken meal - Frozen mojito salmon - Frozen bagged carrots with ginger glaze (I haven't seen this in awhile, but its awesome) - frozen asparagus risotto - Almond butter - Frozen bibimbap bowls - their brand of Organic Chicken broth & vegetable broth I don't bother buying meats, much dairy, breads, fruits, veggies, etc... the one near me doesn't have a good looking veggie/fruit area, they always look old, dried or shriveled. I do get raspberries there bc they keep those refrigerated and the prices are always really good on them for some reason. I think I gave you enough things to buy! LOL |
Thanks everyone for all of the good suggestions. Looks like I am going to need a second cooler. |
Bubba and Sissy love the trader joes Beef liver, begging treats. I love their coffee |
TJ's is way better than WF. WF is so overpriced on everything. Their laver snacks (korean seaweed) is like $2 a pack, and at an Asian market they're like $3 for a pack of nine. Pretty much everything at TJ's is good. |
:cheers::cheers:TJ's has really good wine. It's very inexpensive, but good. I first heard about it from Clark Howard on ABC. One women had four boxes in her cart...six bottles per box! |
