All believers know that when we pray we have power. The lord is our shelter in the storm. Psalm 116. I love the lord because he hears my voice and my supplications. Yes he is psalm 46 our refuge and strength a very present help in trouble. He is with us. He is our stronghold. I pray now that you will be surrounded by his angels and that storm will not come near you. Lord cover my friends with your wings of love and protect them. Let no evil. Çome near them. Jesus lover of our souls we trust you now with our precious friends and pets. Prayers for you will come as you go through this storm.

Tornado damage has been reported in Baxter Springs, Arkansas, and tornado in Joplin, MO. per Twitter. Praying for you all in the storms paths. I know how frightening it is to sit waiting for them to pass.

We were missed so far. It went south of us. Tornado in Quapaw, Oklahoma. Two confirmed dead. :(.

I'm watching TWC and my brother, sister and Uncle and Aunt live in the Heber Springs Searcy area of Arkansas. Talking to my birth sister and she is telling me where other relatives live. EF3 tornado :(

Me too....she just told me that Uncle JR has a brother in Searcy so she's waiting to hear word. But she did say they have safe rooms which is good..

Well my family is safe PTL. Sadly, others are not so lucky. The first storm was rough rough rough but it missed me. Then a second came along and hit us head on. We have tree damage and lost electric until about 15 minutes ago. But we are all safe! So many others have been affected by this storm. Please continue to pray.

Also, during the storm, Rosie was very very nervous. She was very clingy and now will not eat. I can hear her tummy rolling. :(. Stress I guess??

I didn't hear that but I just got up and had not read any news as yet. Poor people. All in the midst of this storm are in my prayers.

Yes' they were pleading for help. :(. This is near the Little Rock area. Bless these people.

Oh gosh, I wasn't following the storms last evening but woke up to the news this morning. My heart and prayers go out to all affected. Just so sad how strong these storms are becoming and the devastation they cause. Rhonda, glad to hear you and your family are safe.

Thanks Shelly. When they told us it was a PDS I was starting to get really scared. I'm glad it didn't hit us as hard but I'm heartbroken for those affected.

I'm so glad you are okay! What an awful night!!! I'm sure everyone that survived it are still in shock and I pray they get all the aid, support and relief they need. Poor people and animals in the fields, barns.

Thanks! It was but we are better off then most. Losing electric, tree damage, no sleep, and a headache is nothing compared to what some are facing this morning. :(. And yes the animals. There are some always misplaced after tornadoes. :(

And they get terrified and panic, too, just like people and dogs, and some are injured and some die when things are blown into them or fall on them. They are often just left to fend for themselves as people run for cover, poor things but most try to secure them in their barns and sheds but they aren't really that safe in very high winds. It sounds like it was a nightmare of a night for a whole bunch of people and their animals last night. At least most made it through alive - that's a lot. I still haven't heard a final, for sure figure of those people who died - saw 16 on one Tweet. That's a huge loss of life if that's true.

Just watching the devastation now on tv. Another is hitting Yazoo City right now. This is just terrible.
