Where Would You Travel?
 
I have a fun question and it may not be the proper forum to ask it on so I apologize in advance if it's not.

If you had to make a choice of one state in the U.S. to travel with your furbaby, where would it be and why? And you can't choose Hawaii because it's across the ocean.

Pigeon Forge TN :D..... Im obsessed with that place! We go once to twice a year and I just can't get enough. Why? Well being here in the FLAT lands of the deep south seeing them mountains just does something to me :). Cades Cove I could just stay there all day long.

I've read that Portland Oregon, Seattle Washington, and San Francisco California are some of the most dog friendly cities in the States. I'd probably start with San Francisco as I've never been there, and right now in frigid Michigan, all I can do is think about visiting somewhere warm and sunny!

There and Gatlinburg which are side by side are also good pup friendly places. You can rent cabins for cheaper than hotel prices and they are dog friendly and no worries about maids that might let your little one escape.
Guinness has gone with us tons of times in fact the little lady that owns the puppy bakery knows him by name at this point :p

California, I've been there but only once and it was too short a visit.

Hands down, Colorado. I lived there for 7 years and miss it ALL the time. It's by far my fave state in the US, and is great for dog friendliness.

I am going to San Fran in May and then the wine country, been to San Fran but it's been years, however Lola is staying home. Even though she has been on many flights to NY and to SC she does not like to fly and even with meds and if sitting on my lap she hyperventilates so I would not want to take her on that long of flight.

I am taking her to a big yorkie meetup in Chicago in May, it sounds like a lot of areas in downtown are dog friendly, so I am looking forward to it. I really like taking her to downtown areas since it is so fun to walk around with her in her stroller, even though she likes to walk, I think she enjoys the stroller even more, she sits up at attention and watches everything, never tries to jump out.

I love visiting the mountains most of all. There's no air like mountain air or sight like snow-covered mountain tops. Next would be a south sea island where there's little traffic or hubbub, a gentle, tropical breeze and nothing but blue sea. Somewhere in there comes England.

Ellie has been to several states.
Her fave was probably AZ. She loves heat.
I think it would be fun to take her to CO or an ocean state.

Mind sharing which bakery that is?:D. We're trying to plan our next trip up maybe next June because we just got back the first part of January and the next trip up will be our first with Piccino and we would like to check it out :). Your right there are plenty of pet friendly cabins and we usually stay in a cabin but next trip up with Piccino will be our first pet friendly cabin ...maybe you could message me? And give a few recommendations of pet friendly cabins? We've been doing some searching and looking but we are VERY picky about the cabin lol. When we had our westie Coffee we stayed at Hampton Inn and that's an AWESOME hotel that is pet friendly.

I was raised in Chicago and still call it my home down, that was my second choice and I am due for a visit.

Sally you are too cute, one of these days but right now I'm lucky to get to the corner drug store.:D
