Yahoo was hacked again, you are urged to change you password immediately Yahoo was hacked again, you are urged to change you password immediately ! Hackers attack Yahoo Mail accounts - Jan. 30, 2014 |
As I understand it, Yahoo notified the accounts that were hacked and told only those to change their password. Is that how you understand it? I heard about it on the news several times this morning and read about it online today also and they seemed to say only the hacked accounts that were notified were affected. I just changed my password, made it so hard I had to look it up for over a week and just got to the point I can remember it and I'm loathe to change it again unless they contact me I was one of the accounts that was hacked. Dang, what is WRONG with hackers that they can't get jobs and make money honestly!?!?!? |
"Yahoo said it reset passwords for users who were impacted. The company sent them text messages Wednesday night warning of "unusual activity on the network." " |
Not sure about my account but honestly I wasn't taking any chances. Didn't wait for an email it just did it. Hope I can remember the new one. :D |

I know if you call ONE insurance company or similar they will slam you for months selling your tel number - wonder if the hacking of yahoo and such is a similar way for them to make money.... does anyone know so I don't have to google this ?:D |
IDK why most do it but big jobs are usually related to money somehow by access to our personal information in the emails, address books and what they can get from our private account info. Helps them guess our passwords maybe to our other online accounts, including charge cards and bands probably. Anything to keep from getting an honest job and actually working for money, I guess! So disgusted with hackers and the worms and malware and viruses and stealing! Ugh! |
