Cava-Poo-Chon Forever young: New dog breed won't lose puppy face - TODAY.com Super cute, but is this gonna be another fad for BYB's to cash in some money??? |
They are cute but not that cute in my opinion. |
Cute, but def not the jackpot of cute, ya know? I was expecting a WOW, CUTE. And yep, another fad, here we go... |
I think Yorkies and most terriers already have the ultimate "forever young" face. They tend to age very well. From what I have read about the severe genetic problems with Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, I would never dare to have one or a dog mixed with one. |
It's always interesting when these geniuses mix breeds & figure they're only getting the best of each breed. What happens to the worst of each breed? |
I'm pretty sure I look at my girls (ages 4 & 7) and say "you're so cute" at least a dozen times a day, every day. (smile) The article made it sound like that phrase was reserved just for this new mix breed. |
My coworker actually just walked into the room asking me what I thought about them and thought for sure I'd love them- I googled it with him and ehhh, they're ok. They look like a lot of other dogs I've seen and for $3,500, definitely not worth the price tag, IMO anyway. Supposedly, they don't shed & don't bark. But don't all dogs bark?? |
yeah here we go again...more greeders and homeless designer doggies to be coming. cute but it makes me sad....for all the rescues out there in need of love and a home. |
What about these? Pomsky Puppies We are Pomskies Lovers I don't understand how thus is even possible? How can you breed such a small dog with such a large one? |

I'm not impressed, it just looks like a poorly bred poodle to me. The pomsky is adorable, but I'd never want one. |
my nephew's girlfriend just bought a poodle king Charles mix and it's cute but not that cute, looks a lot like the one in the photo but ginger colored, but she did not pay much. One of the reasons she bought it is she wanted a King Charles but they are very expensive and can have issues with soft skulls and so forth. Her puppy does not look at all like a King Charles just like a shaggy poodle. With mixes you never know what they will look like until they are more like three and four months at least. Lola is a yorkie pom mix and when you google that combo you will find very few that look like Lola. I also would never pay a lot for a mix, but I know some people will. |
I love everything about the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. They have amazing temperaments and are such happy dogs. Despite this, their heart issues and issues with the breeders trying to purposely breed a small skull to have cuter puppies terrify me. I couldn't knowingly get a pup having these potential issues. |
I just don't see how you will ever be sure what you will get when you mix breeds like that. |
