Glad you asked! I live alone with my babies :D and sometimes well alot of times I would just like to make it quick and simple, I have tried the south beach diet food it's not bad and Im not recommending anyone to this product! the calories was low and it was lean and it looked good?? So for us singles here, sometimes we dont have the time to prepare all these great recipes! thanks for the question!! |

Copy one of the nutrition labels from one and send it to me via PM or email. Then I can tell better. Personally I don't eat any of those prepared frozen dinner as I'm a diabetic & heart patient and very strict with my eating habits. They are a little too high in almost everything for me. |

I have great sympathy for single folks who are trying to follow a healthy diet. You are correct, most recipes are much more fun if you are cooking for more that one. But to be good to yourself, buy some of the ziploc plastic containers, try a recipe, eat one portion and freeze the rest! Then you have a few of your OWN frozen meals for future quick dinners! You all are asking great questions!! Keep up the good work!! :D |

Hello everyone! Haven't been able to check in. I know today is weigh in day. Are we doing it at a specific time or can I do it now? Thanks! |
Hello everyone! I want to join the club too! I was also arounf the 125lbs range and stopped caring for quite a while and turned to be in the 140lbs range. So my goal is loose about 15lbs. I want to wish GOOD LUCK to each and every one of you. This is a great idea and being part of this will give us a greater motivation drive...im sure of that. Check out this link it is very helpful and informative. Hope you like it http://www.bodyforlife.com/ |
My husband also got an a diet with me so that will help a lot. No temptation at least in our house from now on :p |
Remember, this is for Lifestyle Changes FOREVER (means the rest of your life). This is NOT a diet. I know you WILL lose weight if you do this the way it should be done. We are changing what we eat so we can become healthier and live a much longer life. It's surprising what health problems you can beat IF you are eating properly! This means no junk food, reasonable portions within the correct serving size, eating the right foods and eliminating certain foods from your eating habits. I know I probably should have died many times in the past 15 years but because of very good eating habits, I'm still alive and kicking. My Cardiologist is in awe! Good luck to all of you - take it one day at a time for success. |
You are very welcome! Quote:
Age Height Current weight Goal weight and if you want the club report weekly, your email address. Like Pat said, this is not a diet, it is a way to eat for the rest of your life. It takes committment, thought, and effort. But the rewards are so great! Good luck! Ask any questions you wish along the way, we are all here for you! :D :D |

I ll pm you right now! Thanks |
Just found this thread and I have to say that it sounds WONDERFUL!! I know I won't be able to convert all at once but I REALLY want to get back down to my "Hottie" weight ;) I'm not sure if I can convince my hubby to join me or not but he NEEDS to. He's only 39 and is told he's on the brink of a heartattack and diabettes. His 40 year old brother had a stroke and his 42 year old sister has had numerous heart attacks and was diagnosed with diabettes recently, and his mom is also diabetic as is mine so it's in both our family histories. It's just sooo hard to change the eating habits that have been instilled in us since birth but we NEED to do so. I have Ulcerative Colitis so some of the good stuff might be hard on my system but I'd like to do something. I went to a Nutritionist last summer but she wasn't much help...just watch portion sizes and stay around 1500 calories a day but no SOLID help in eating practices. This is PERFECT because we have each other and the posts that I've read from Glad and Muffie's Mom have been so inspiring and easy to understand. Not ready to "clear" out the Fridge yet but will begin to watch what I'm eating and will continue learning as I go!! I really want to change!! Thanks so much for this!! WE CAN DO IT!!! Age 35 Height 5' 6" Weight 157 Goal Weight 130 at least |

Tammy, you are your family are perfect for this! Quote:
You can do this for your health, for your family's health, and for your FUTURE health! We all age and as we do, we need to eat right. You cannot expect the "machine" to perform well for the ages if you don't give it the right fuel now! I look forward to watching your progress! |
