Max- 9/7/13 We have lost our first Yorkie Max yesterday at the age of 13. He had a treat stuck in his throat. We found out he also had an enlarged heart and liver. We tried to save him but the surgery was to much for him. The little guy came out of surgery and waited for my husband to pick him up and then his heart stopped. The vet got it beating again but she said he was suffering so much and we needed to let him go. We did everything we could. We lost a bernese mountain dog in Dec. I have 1 little yorkie left Gidget. She is lost right now and seems alittle depresses. I am sure she know what is going on. Broken hearts, our animals bring us so much joy. Its hard to let them go. |
I know this thread is off the topic but I normally post here |
I am so very sorry for your loss. It is not an easy adjustment for either of us or our pets. Sending hugs |
I'm so sorry for your loss. It's hard when it's in such a traumatic way as well. My first yorkie, (Max) died many years ago not coming through surgery as well. I hope you can move past the shock and start remembering the wonderful life Max had with you soon. Be well. |
I'm so very sorry for your losses. It is truly heartbreaking when they are called Home. They'll both be in your hearts forever, till you meet again. RIP Max & BMD. Hugs, Kat |
I am so sorry you lost Max. It is so heartbreaking! RIP Max. |
I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. Max sounded just precious to you, and I'm sure he lead the bestest life ever with you as his Momma. I wish you healing and peace . |
I am so sorry for your loss of your sweet Max I haven't left at all Haven’t Left At All I saw you gently weeping as you looked through photographs You paused for just a moment at one that made you laugh. But as you turned more pages the tears began to flow You whispered that you missed me but I want you to know; I softly licked those stinging tears that down your cheeks did fall I want to help you understand I haven’t left at all. On those days that you are overcome with sorrow, pain and grief I rest my head upon your leg to offer some relief. When you take our walking path I’ve seen you turn around Because I know you surely heard my paws upon the ground. At night while you are sleeping I snuggle at your side You stroke my fur as you touch that place where I used to lie. You said it’s just your heart playing tricks upon your mind But rest assured I’m really there, my spirit’s left behind. I know your heart is hurting; it’s like an open sore You think my life has ended and you won’t see me anymore. But for those of us bound tight by love, death is not the curtain call; It’s really the eternal beginning that waits for us all So as you live your life I patiently await For us to be together when you pass through Heaven’s gate. |
I am so very sorry you have lost your Max. It sure is hard to say goodbye to our beloved fur kids, even though they will live on in your heart, and in your memories. |
I am so sorry for your loss// it is hard not to have them anymore |
I àm just now seeing this. I am so very, very sorry for your loss of Max. It is so hard to let go. Was Gidget able to see him before or after Max passed on? It still depresses them. But, it also helps them to know that they won't be back. Dogs grieve just like we do. When we lost my little doxie, Odie, at 10 years old, it was so hard on Julia. She went about 2 weeks not eating and just layed around all day. Of course, so did I. About a month after he was gone we decided to get a rat terrier pup. It helped us all, including Julia.we never, ever forget Odie. But we found another furbaby who needed love..this worked for us...so,I just thought I'd share it with you. You are all in my thoughts and prayers!!! Rest in Peace at The Rainbow Bridge Sweet, Sweet Max |
I am so sorry for your loss you will be in my prayers |
